Dr. Maria Regina F Oakes

ER visit to Avista Hospital to admit patient on recommendation of their Primary Care Physician. Listens to no one but herself. Impatient and dismissive when we attempted to share information critical to the patients care and reason for ER arrival. Ordered an unnecessary invasive procedure on patient that was halted by Pulmanary Specialist that happened to intervene at the last second. Speaks unprofessionally within earshot of patient and advocates. Avista gets A+ with the exception of this doc.

This doctor unfortunately can't think outside of what she reads. She is dismissive, she will absolutely lie and has lied to save her but, she sits in the back and gossips about other patients with the yes it is. She said there was nothing wrong with me although I kept telling her there was, turns out I have a brain injury, I need a spinal fusion, and I've got bones sitting on my nerves. I would run for the hills if she comes in!

This doctor had a horrific bedside manner, she is a liar, she misses the mark. She dismissed my symptoms and it turns out I need surgery.She sat in the back gossiping with her nurse about nothing being wrong with me.You definitely find a good doctor has cares with a brain
