Dr. Baskin was extremely friendly and engaging, didn’t carry that arrogance a lot of doctors seem to have. Have nothing but positive things to say.

Dr. Baskin deserves more than 5 stars. He is one of very few healthcare providers who go beyond what is expected. He is not only thorough during treatment, but caring, personable and focused on the doctor-patient relationship. I felt in good hands as he truly is a great physician. He explains in detail treatment options and I am so thankful having been referred to him.

I developed moderate-to-severe blepharitis, and after a debilitating year of trying to get it under control through my primary, to little success, I felt desperate for an alternate solution. Dr. Mark Baskin has been my husbands and my ophthalmologist since 2001. From routine exams to infections, surgery and injury, he has provided great medical expertise and exceptional care for us. Dr. Baskin has always made himself available. He has offered us expert advise on preventive eye care. He has been extraordinarily empathetic regarding our eye health concerns. I had an appointment at 2:00 pm, when I arrived for my appointment at 2:00 pm I found a note at the door saying I'm performing a surgery I'll be back at 2:30 I asked why he didn't do a courtesy phone call so I would have to be waiting for such long

I was referred to Dr Baskin by my family doctor after I was advised by my opthamologist that sagging upper eyelids were obscuring my vision. I called and was given an appointment the very next day. After a concise exam, I was surprised to be told that my upper lids were only a small part of my vision problem and that my primary issue was drooping eyebrows, a procedure he did not perform. I was very grateful that he did not try to sell me a fix that was not my main problem. Given my next day appointment, his exam and his candor regarding my problem, he is a five star physician in my opinion. Dr. Baskin is model for others to follow. He was able to clarify a misdiagnosis from UCLA in my left eye and is diligently monitoring my remaining eye for problems. He personally calls to remind me of my appointments because I have short-term memory issues, which is above and beyond the call of duty. Always a pleasure to visit his office. If you are looking for a great opthamologist, Dr. Baskin is excellent. He performed surgery on my partner's eye - removing remnants of a basal cell on his eyelid. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure, did a stellar job of removing all traces of the cancer cell, and stitched up the eyelid. Everything healed perfectly. The surgery center that he uses is right down the street - great facility and staff. Parking and access to the building are very simple with complimentary valet (still a fee for parking). Dr. Baskin performed a Radiesse procedure on me, and it's wonderful! He did a perfect job! He is also our Ophthalmologist, and has been for a couple of decades. He's very dedicated to us as his patients, and I trust his judgement completely. Dr. Baskin in the only doctor I trust with my and my family's eye health concerns.

My opthamologist recommended Dr. Mark Baskin when he found I had an eyelash turned into my left eye. I was concerned about the surgery until I met Dr. Baskin. He was so kind as he explained the procedure and put me at ease. He performed the surgery on December 14 and it was successful. What was amazing to me, compared to other surgeons, was that he is so caring and conscientious. He even called me, at home, the following Saturday to see how I was doing. (I have had several surgeries, through the years, and no doctor, nor even any nurse, has ever called to find out how I was recovering.) When I received a referral to see Dr. Baskin, I was extremely apprehensive to meet the doctor who would be operating on/or near by eyes. After meeting Dr. Baskin all my doubts dissipated. I could not believe the before and after surgery care I received. Dr. Baskin did my surgery on a Friday, called me at home and then saw me in the office on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. I could not believe my good luck in finding such a caring doctor, both before and after surgery. Thank you.
