Dr. Mark Davis-Lorton

Visit was very fast but effective. One issue is that one of the prescriptions was “not available” at CVS. It seems that my insurance does not cover it. CVS reached the office for an alternative but has not heard back. So the prescription was not fulfilled.

Dr. Davis- Lorton has been my physician for quite some time. Each time we meet, I feel so blessed to be in his care. He is brilliant, personable and kind

He spoke with my daughter in detail about her asthma, allergies and other issues. Very informative, and in a way in which she can relate to, and understand. He was pleasant, and patient as well.

Addressed questions, gave professional feedback and covered all the bases by including bloodwork for a variety of important tests that could also be very impactful to healthy living. Focused and addressed the issues that brung me to his office. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable and gave health recommendations and advice outside of medical concern.

Myself and my Son have HAE. He has been absolutely amazing! Without him, my Son’s quality of life would not be as it is today. He is an amazing Dr with an even better bedside manner!

I believe Dr. Davis-Lorton is a smart guy, I'm sure he studied allergy and immunology in school, but perhaps he flunked his bedside manner class. He's terribly impatient and doesn't care much about your struggles. His office staff is very unhelpful unless you'd like make an appointment, and worst of all, he's always got his foot halfway out the door while you're still discussing your health, as he seems to be in a rush to his next appointment... always.

Always available to answer questions, share information with other medical providers when warranted. Dr. Lorton spends appropriate time with patients, never rushes through the appointment. Staff is supportive and will follow up if requested. Thank you Dr. Lorton

I felt like Dr. Davis-Lorton listened carefully and didn't minimize my medical issue. Even though it is a minor ailment, he acknowledged the daily nuisance it could be, suggested remedies and follow-up if necessary.

I start with the reception where i was immediately directed to a waiting room and after just two minutes i was called up by the nurse. Truly pleasant lady: all went with no pain. I was placed again in the waiting room fot the medicine to take effect, was called again and inspected by the same lady. The doctor cane after a shot while and thoroughly explained my case, all was perfectly carried out.

Got right to the issue with an astute explanation and recommendation

Dr. Davis-Lorton is always good to talk to and hear my issues. He has been clear and honest over the multiple times i have visited with him. I will always trust his experience and diagnosis.

After all of my allergy tests came up completely negative Dr. Davis-Lorton proceeded to dig deeper to try and find the source of my problem and recommend a course of action to rectify it. He duly noted my distinctive English accent and expressed interest in my personal life and what brought me to the USA 34 years ago. He was surprised, or "gobsmacked" as we say back in England, by the amount of copay I was charged for the prescription drug that I was taking to, hopefully, eliminate my problem and is taking steps to try and get it lowered. Overall I was very impressed by this doctor and was happy we had interacted!

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lorton. I came in and threw all my chronic-allergy-related problems at him and he responded with compassion and a thorough knowledge of the literature. He is willing to meet your own knowledge where it's at, and he checks in regularly to make sure you feel you're being heard and responded to by your medical providers. Additionally, he never washed his hands of the matter - every new solution we tried, he always reassured me that there were other options up next if this one didn't work. He was very focused on ensuring that I felt better, and reiterated several times that his job is to help patients feel better (as opposed to diagnosing and solving every tiny problem). He's just great and I absolutely recommend him to my chronically ill friends any time I'm asked.

Dr. Davis-Lorton saved our son ! Our son had been experiencing severe swelling all over his body and face. We took him to his pediatrician who prescribed eyedrops but we knew there was something else going on. Thankfully we brought our son to Dr. Davis-Lorton, he did an allergy test and also blood work which showed our sons true diagnosis and several food allergies. MDL is a wonderful doctor who takes the time to listen to you and does not rush you out the door. He is very quick to respond to phone messages or emails on the patient portal. I had my first appointment with Dr. Davis-Lorton today for my son and I was truly just wowed. He had amazing bedside manor and explained everything thoroughly. He was very knowledgable and helped immensely. My son loved him as well and asked when we would be going back! Nurse Neketa was so so sweet and great as well. She took blood from my son and he said nothing!! One of the best visits I have had to a dr/specialist in a while! HIGHLY recommend!

I brought my son to Dr. Davis Lorton with a very severe case of atopic dermatitis at the recommendation of a wonderful allergist here in Orange County. My son was so bad, his eyes were swollen shut and he couldn’t see. Dr. Lorton took time with him and gave him a thorough examination. He prescribed the appropriate medicines and my son has made an incredible improvement. He is monitoring my son very carefully. Dr. Lorton has an incredible background. He is kind, friendly and caring.
