Dr. Mark Randolph Elin

Dr Elin is a very compassionate man who listens and provides insightful feedback. He has been a great source of insightful information and is comfortable referring to other providers when appropriate. I expect I will conitue seeing him for awhile.

I wanted him to test my daughter for autism but he didn’t feel the testing was necessary. Instead he tested her for adhd which she has already been tested for and diagnosed with. I took her to another neuropsychologist and she tested positive for autism. This dr doesn’t listen.

I am a patient of Dr. Elin. I have been being treated for PTSD, and Chronic Depression. I can not stress enough the importance of finding a Therapist that is Compassionate, Caring, Available, and I think most important, being a friend while still maintain that Highly Respectful and Professional Relationship. I think of him as my friend but, mostly a Medically trained expert of the human Brain. (I know how it sounds) I want to have that invisible and unnoticeable line of Doctor/Patient, that is the only way to keep yourself feeling safe. An important aspect of therapy I think is, that therapist can only help you with what you tell him. I tell Dr. Elin everything about my life, and no one only has bad, the good is just as important to talk about as the bad. I have had Behavioral Health issues since I had an accident at my work, that was 22 years ago. This comes from my heart, this man is brilliant and personable, he is in no way a 'Cookie Cutter Therapist'. He doesn't treat you as a case number, he takes the time to deeply know you, while always treating you as his equal. This wonderful person has helped me more in the four years I have known him then all of my other Therapist together. He is a great guy. If you deiced to see Dr. Elin, I wish you well.
