Dr. Mark Melden

The two appointments I had each time he tells me that there’s something in my eyes and that I’m hiding something from him. And these are on zoom as well. I’ve seen a lot of docs before but have never heard someone say this after the first 5 minutes of an appt. I’m not taking this personally and neither am I offended by it, but I did find that very bizarre. I’m betting he says this to all of his patients . Also had my parents waiting 15 mins for the appt to start and then he comes in without saying good morning or any type of greeting. Fake and shallow doc, don’t waste your time and money.

This doctor is great! I really can’t say enough good things. I’ll try though. I visited Dr. Melden about long-term anxiety issue I have to live with. He was so helpful and listened very well and was all about treating me in a way I was comfortable with. Finding a doctor like him it’s so rare he’s definitely A doctor that will treat you right he prescribed me a medication that has helped me so much. He is understanding kind and caring you can tell he loves his job and takes it seriously. I am so grateful to have him as a doctor! If you’re looking for a doctor that takes his job seriously and Loves his job and patience give him a try you will not be let down. Thank you doctor you’re the best! This doctor is great! What a great doctor! I visited the doctor because I have anxiety issues. He was very polite kind and listen very well. He was also very helpful in prescribing me medication that helped so much! I definitely will be going back to visit. I recommended him to my whole family And all my friends. It is hard to find a great doctor that will listen and being so helpful.

Our son with autism was treated like a criminal by this man. He has no empathy, no compassion, no patience. He does not listen. He traumatized our son and our family. Stay away if you have a child with a psychiatric issue or developmental disability. He called my son "strange." Seriously. Stay away.

Worst office staff ever with totally indifferent practitioners. I have been calling for a month about a preauthorization and they always tell me the office manager isn't in or they already submitted it. It turns out they lied about submitting the preauthorization - the insurance company has no record at all! When I go there I see many patients sicker than me and I shudder to think how they survive this indifferent doctor and his incompetent staff.

This is a very smart doctor who knows a lot about the brain. However, he is also cruel and lacks understanding of mental illness on a human level. I do not recommend taking children to him because he is critical and lacks understanding. Will never go back to him.

Dr. Melden goes above and beyond with his clients. He is caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable about his field. I highly recommend him.

At my first and last appointment with Dr Melden in the Fall of 2012, he was rude, disrespectful, arrogant, condescending, and displayed no compassion. I actually left feeling worse than when I walked in. With such an abrasive personality like his, why did he ever bother becoming a psychiatrist in the first place? He should have become a pathologist instead, as it would have be a better fit for his personality. I strongly recommend NOT going to him or anyone in his group at Crownview Medical.

Brought an under age family member to see Dr. Meldon for help with anxiety and depression. He prescribed 2 medications. My family member is now having some pretty serious and scary side effects and this Dr will not call me back! When I asked his staff why he left without calling me back I was told that He sees patients all day long and when he's done he's done. He dosent want to have to make calls too. Seriously???? This guy is one to stay away from!

Terrible. It impossible to reach him, to make appointments with him , and when your depressed and suicidal I wouldn't recommend this.
