Dr. Pizuro is very professional and very kind personality. I could not ga b e asked for better surgeon. He did do the total knee replacement on my right knee 5 years ago and my knee is like new no problems, excellent outcome. 3 weeks ago he did my left knee. I am nicely recovering from surgery. He explains in details, and listens to the patients. He is very caring dr. And excellent surgeon. I definitely would recommend him to family and friends.

My questions regarding hip replacement surgery we're addressed. I now feel more comfortable having the procedure done.

From start to finish, my visit was as much a pleasure as visiting a doctor can be. Jessica greeted me and led me to the exam room, listened to my concern, and quickly arranged for an X-ray. The X-ray technician was friendly and efficient. Dr. Pizzuro examined me and the films and showed me the issue on the imaging, explained it in simple terms and gave me confidence that I needn't worry and could continue my exercise without interruption. He also told me how I could manage any discomfort. All in all, a first rate experience.

Very good and comfortable visit, everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and very courteous of. All my questions were answered clearly. I look forward to my next visit.

My appointment to see another doctor in the practice today was cancelled an hour and 15 minutes before my visit. I was told that I would have to reschedule. As I waited for this appointment for one week due to an injury I sustained, I was beside myself thinking I would have to wait, God only knows, for another appointment. I asked the staff if they could ask Dr. Pizzurro if he could squeeze me in. My husband and I have been patients of his for many years. He kindly agreed to fit me into his busy schedule and see me today. I thought I might have a hip fracture. Dr. Pizzurro helped me with the anxiety I was having by seeing me, doing an X-ray and an exam, and assuring me I did not fracture my hip. My Thanksgiving would have been ruined worrying about my injury if Dr. Pizzurro had not seen me. Thank you, Dr. Pizzurro, for being the very special doctor that you are and helping me , once again.

Have been seeing Dr. Pizzurro for a few years now regarding my worsening bilateral knee arthritis. On his recommendation, we've tried Cortisone injections; and Gel injections most recently. The Cortisone injections were great - lasting about 3months. Now, however, have been having right knee pain which is awful, waking me up during the night. His recommendation is a TKR (Total Knee Replacement), which I do plan to do, so I will be well on the mend by next Spring and Summer. I have great faith in this man as he is always attentive, caring, personable, professional, and has an outstanding reputation ! I highly recommend him.

Post surgical issue….. Dr Pizzurro examined and drained knee.. very efficient and successful. Dr Pizzurro exudes confidence in his work and hence gives his patients the expectation of a completely successful outcome.

Dr. Pizzurro is an excellent surgeon, has good bedside manners, is very thorough. He reviewed all my diagnostic imaging, and prepared me for surgery by making sure I was in the best operable condition, solving some pre-existing conditions. I can tell he has passed the learning curve long ago by the wonderful outcome of my surgery.

For my second visit after surgery Dr Pizzurro not only reviewed my current medical status but made me feel good about the progress I made. He encouraged my continued exercise (walking) but also made sure to tell me not to overdo - “listen to your body”. I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

Excellent! Dr Mark Pizzuro gave me a Triathlon Total knee and got it spot-on... smack dab in the right place. Coming up on 6 years, and i often forget i have it. Great range of motion and articulation. Keep what you were born with till it affects your life. Dr Mark provides a terrific plan B.

Follow up from Left Hip Replacement Surgery and the Start of scheduling my right hip procedure.

I was pleasantly surprised at the speed with which I was seen by the intake person. Dr. Pizzurro has replaced both my hips and relieved me of great pain. The first surgery was in 2012 and the second in 2020. Obviously, I had confidence enough to return to him.

I would suggest that you add “knee replacement” to your specialties. I will be dancing again very soon due to your extraordinary talent as a surgeon. It’s well known that you are among the very best; congratulations on another outstanding job.

I was disappointed when Dr. Pizzurro didn't want to do the anterior surgery for my hip replacement since it is an easier recovery then the posterior way. I found another doctor and successfully had my hip replaced using anterior surgery.

Dr. Pizzuro did my hip replacement in September, within 8 weeks, I couldn't tell the difference between my hips! No pain, no problems. He has a great bedside manner. I will definitely recommend him -

Dr Pizzuro performed an anterior hip replacement on me on Sept 10. 10 days later I am walking a mile a day assisted only by a cane! I can’t say enough about Dr Pizzuro and his team. They really did an extraordinary job in fixing me up.
