Dr. Mitchell J Rubinoff

5 star Wonderful doc...3-4 star mostly poor staff. Is a shame the poor staff is the first line of contact. Happens more and more with doctors and patients leave

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Rubinoff. During my second colonoscopy with him my intestine was separated from my spleen. I bled into the area around my spleen. I knew something was wrong the minute I woke up in recovery. the pain was terrible , it was painful to take a deep breath. Even an experienced doctor can make a mistake but what made this situation even worse was Dr. Rubinoff's inability to admit a mistake! After going to the emergency room for a CT scan it was confirmed my intestine was seoarated from my spleen. Recovery took months. He never apologized or admitted any thing was wrong, he was totally dismissive.

Dr. Rubinoff is very dedicated and accomplished physician. He is thoughtful, considerate and very caring. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years, and have always been with respect. Knowing other professionals in his area of expertise, he is well respected and is very easy to work with. A good person. To be a good doctor, you must be a good person FIRST>
