Dr. Scarupa is owned by Big Pharma and will push unnecessary drugs on you. Dr. Scarupa lacks basic immunology/virology knowledge and does not know that RSV infection causes asthma and sometimes death in small children, yet he works at Allergy and Asthma Institute. I highly recommend Dr. Scarupa. I went to him after seeing several other doctors for asthma and wheezing. He took the time to listen to my history and issues. He treated my wheezing with medication while he tried to find the root cause of of my problems. After a few visits and a CT scan he determined that my asthma was caused by post-nasal drip due to chronic sinus issues. He recommended me to an ENT who performed sinus surgery. Dr. Scarupa was the first doctor who really tried to help me. He is very easy to talk, answers your questions and gives clear and concise explanations. Dr. Scarupa could have taken the easy way out like some of my previous doctors who just kept me coming back for different medications but Dr. Scarupa didn't want to do that and I'm grateful!

Dr. Scarupa is a very knowledgeable doctor in his field. He listens to his patients and do not rush them thorough. He is an excellent communicator that leaves no concern or issue in addressed. He assures that his patients get the best care available. His staff is very courteous and professional. He is the best of the best.

Dr. Scarupa is excellent! He has solved a variety of unique health issues for me, where I had trouble finding help elsewhere. I always leave our appointments feeling educated, reassured and with a plan.

He really listened, and diagnosed my daughter right away. We'd really been struggling to find an answer, and he just said all the right things. We've been seeing Dr. Scarupa for years, and know we can always count on him!

I actually look forward to my appointments with Dr. Scarupa. He is thoughtful and he listens, and doesn't just hit you with a pre-cooked plan. He works with you which I really appreciate. He's been my allergist for probably a decade now. One other thought: he knows me and my history, which matters a lot. They all check their notes before walking in the door of course; but he knows my situation even without the notes and as I said, he really listens and works with you. Dr. Scarupa is the best doctor ever. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in a way I can understand. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for him, which is unheard of. Today he came into the room 2 minutes after the nurse left. He sits back in his chair like he’s staying a spell, making his patients feel like they are the only one he’s seeing that day and he has all the time in world for them. He asks personal questions, getting to know his patients on a deeper level, with a genuine care for the person he’s treating. I can call his office and he’ll personally return my call- again taking his time with me. We no longer live locally to his office but travel 8 hours round trip to see him anyway because we trust him and like him that much. Best.doctor.ever!!

Dr. Scarupa is knowledgeable, personable and came highly recommended. Unfortunately after much time and money, his methods were not able to help me pinpoint my allergy triggers.
