Was terrified to have my knee replaced at 44 years old. I had no choice, Dr S, didn’t sugar coat it, after 3 opinions he was the tie breaker. “I can replace your knee now, or give you a new hip and knee later” at the rate I was going, I was destroying myself. Walking was terrible, working difficult, quality of life was zero. Now, weight loss, hiking, walking, quality of life 100%. Highly recommend Dr Schottenfeld.

My husband had his left knee replaced not once but twice and today he is no better. We had to find another specialist that is will to replace the same left knee yes, for a third time. The Dr was very professional however his front office staff was very rude and demanded that each visit a co pay be paid even though after surgery a dr is suppose to follow up. The lack of care and follow up was very stressful to not only my husband but to myself.
