Dr. Mark Verdun

I saw this doctor once, and I would never go back again. He showed no patience or understanding, gave his opinion without looking at any xrays, and after seeing his 'notes', he fabricated much of what happened at my visit. I was able to find an excellent orthopedic surgeon who listens, answers questions, spends quality time, and after ordering xrays, showed them to me and explained what was going on. He even prescribed some pain medication for me - until I could get seen by pain management.

The reputation of a physician starts with the strength of his support staff. I listened to, Stephanie, talk to my 80 year old mother on the phone. She acted like she didn’t want to be bothered, was very rude and acted insulted that my mom asked what door she should enter at ACMC. Stephanie obviously has not been trained in customer service and lacks compassion and empathy. ACMC better refine some of the support staff or send them to work in a different industry. Just had knee surgrey on 23 November. Happy Thanksgiving up and walking pain had subsided. Dr. Verdun has done a great job.

Dr Verdun is wonderful! He has done my shoulder, my trigger thumb, and my total knee replacement. The girls at the front desk are on the ball too. Always welcoming, and sympathetic. Jamica (sp?) Is my absolute favorite! But all the girls are fantastic! I recommend Dr Verdun to everybody! (I saw/read the bad reviews and I'm shocked! I never experienced any of those issues! Does the doctor sit down with you for an hour? No! Of course not! He is business like! This is his office, not a place of leisure. )

Well I went to this doc thinking he had good reviews and he could help me...how wrong I was.. I had my knee surgery done on March 5thth 2019 I never seen him again after it I seen his “NP” only.. She wasn’t any help... I called his office cuz I kept falling I fell with my knees going behind me... explain that.... 10 times...and I told them how many times it happened I have never had a doc office not call me... does he think he is that good that he doesn’t have to check on his patients that they don’t need seen again. EVER ? But don’t miss paying a bill... so still to this day my knee is not any better I am looking for another doctor that can give some answers to my problems.. I wish I could share my photos so you could see what I have gone through. Do more then check the reviews.... Because of him I was able to walk again

I had a very painful torn meniscus & Dr. Verdun was a 2nd opinion. 1st Dr was suppose to be amazing. Didn't even seem to want to do my surgery. I felt like there was no hope. I seen Dr. Verdun, he read my MRI & gave me 2 options surgery or trying a less invasive treatment,,,I had already tried everything, I felt. Only seen him again right before surgery & that was fine with me. I know my knee will never be the same again, BUT I would NOT change a thing. He did a great job! I would not recommend this physician at all. He is impatient and arrogant, and is very difficult to contact at his office, apparently due to 'scheduling and surgeries' and the nurses can't get back to you for 72 hours - according to the phone messages. Talking to an actual person is impossible at this office. The receptionists do not know how to direct calls, which is very frustrating.

The receptionists out at the front desk are wonderful. But that is where the wonderful part stops.
