Dr. Martin Palmeri

Dr. Palmeri, was wonderful, it was my first time seeing him and he was so pleasant and easy to talk to. He explained what he thought was going on with me and hopefully we have a plan of what to do next. Thank you Dr.Palmeri and to his caring staff.

He is open, calm and compassionate. This enables ease of my asking all questions and concerns. He is open and honest about treatments, prognosis and other or additional options. He asks pertinent questions and is never judgmental. It is so important to trust that your oncologist is using the latest treatments available for your type of cancer. It means a lot to be able to live life to the fullest knowing you are getting the best care, we are so fortunate to have him in Asheville. He encourages family involvement. He encourages travel and any other activities to ensure patients lives are as normal as possible. Overall I couldn’t ask for a more caring, competent and honest doctor.

Dr.Palmeri is just awesome. He takes time to ensure all of our questions are answered. He never rushes our visits. He deserves 10 stars. His office staff are just as awesome. So blessed he is our doctor.

I know this bc Dr. Palmeri works with another specialist to ensure that I get the best possible care. Dr. Palmeri is extremely detailed and he takes care of me, as if I’m his only patient. Trust is a huge part of dealing with an uncertain disease. I trust Dr. Palmeri and I feel comfortable sharing my questions and concerns. I don’t believe I would be making the progress I am, without this skilled, professional oncologist that sees me as a person, a wife, a mother, and a professional in my field. In addition, Dr. Palmeri makes use of his sense of humor which allow me to relax.

I was treated well. Everyone there was courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend Messino Cancer center if you are unfortunate to need their services

Dr Palmeri, his NP's, nurses and all of the staff have been extremely kind and friendly in my nearly 5 year association with them. Yes, 5 years of metastatic lung cancer. I am also very thankful, and blessed. Feeling good these days.

I consulted with Dr. Palmeri. He takes the time needed to provide thorough explanations of tests ordered and the results. He’s very professional, caring, and patient. The staff members at Messina —from reception to the in-room nurse — are all wonderful.

Dr. Palmeri is the best doctor I have ever known. He is detailed and he listens very carefully. He also seeks out new tests, procedures, and better practices for treating disease. Dr. Palmeri has a great sense of humor and he makes me laugh a bit. I needed to contact him once while he was on vacation and he responded promptly. Finally, I trust his professional judgement. Dr Palmeri gave excellent medical care for my father in law as he was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. He approached my father in law on a level that he could understand and relate to. He was caring and compassionate, I could not have asked for a better MD to be at our side as we said good by to such a great man. My deepest gratitude for him and his staff.

Dr Palmari has been my doctor for 3 years, I have always found him to be ‘on top’ of my treatments and tests. Always taking time to chat and make you feel comfortable.

Dr. Palmeri takes as much time with me as is needed. He listens carefully to any concerns I have. He changed my chemotherapy medications from what the previous mean, thoughtless oncologist that I had before him who said I had less than a 15% chance of survival. I just passed my three years in remission,

Dr. Palmeri is new to my area, but I have been a patient of his practice for the past 6mos. I feel that all my medicial needs are well addressed, along with any questions or concerns I may have.
