Dr Bartley always explains and likes stems very intently.

I did not feel this provider listened to my concerns and respected my year of experience with, and knowledge of, my own body.

This was my first appointment as I am a new patient. I am extremely impressed with how I was treated, the plan for my health going forward and the knowledge of my new physician. I was at my previous pcp for 30 years and never once experienced this type of care. Excellent care and it was my first visit. My daughters both plan on transferring.

I did not feel that I wasn't treated respectfully and my questions were brushed off by the doctor. She didn't spear to want to take the time to "deal" with my issues. I was taken aback with her initial comments upon entering the door.At this time, I'm looking at switching my provider as I'm not comfortable with the level of care from this provider.

I wish I had more time with the provider. It felt somewhat rushed so I left with many questions I was not able to ask. Perhaps I could have been more assertive in expressing my own concerns,

Dr Bartley is bad in so many ways. Bring your phone and record the visit. If she treats you like she treated me, you'll be happy you have evidence.

The doctor was very terse in her comments to me . She didnt want to discuss things I had done with regards to my health. I have been a patient for a few years now and every time I go in she acts like its the first timeShe met me - she doesn't keep good notes on past appointments or doesn't use them. She has been this way since covid and I thought I get it- it's stressful but this last appointment she was just not nice to me. I have spoken to manager and we have comeUp with a plan . No need for follow up-

When you ask a question and it's not answered and you have to ask again. When your told about a problem you have and the response is loss weight. (Well for that certain problem the answer is not loss weight. It maybe surgery. She's a very poor doctor. Very bad bedside manner. Rushes to get in and out. A physical should take more than 15 minutes. Tells you you can walk into any Baystate facility to get a certain x-ray (no appointment needed) which was not the case I needed to make an appointment. Very poor!!!

All staff and provider were very professional and caring.

Absolute worst experience ever. Would not let me talk despite asking me questions and was beyond rude.

Very disappointed in her care. I will be switching practices. Her response to my sudden dizziness /loss of vision due to a head injury was, "what do you want me to do about it"

Incorrectly denied me a routine physical day-of because of Insurance even though I had coverage confirmed prior. She didn’t even take the time to say hello or talk to me, just sent her (very nice) MA to do her bidding. I have to make a new appt elsewhere to get a physical and vaccines because I’m never driving to see her again. Doesn't really listen to what you have to say..doesn't seem to care about you enough to discuss what's wrong with you..

A bimbo who couldn't even diagnose the flu. Uncaring, did not even read my records, would not address any of the medical problems I've been having, ei. loss of vision, total loss of feeling in legs, face & arms, problems swallowing and choking, and severe cramping in legs, among other very concerning issues, she would not even address or mention. All she wanted to talk about was that "not even cancer patients should be taking pain medication" If you get cancer this animal should be the last doctor you should ever go to! Always gives me sound advice. She keeps me in check. Very personable and down to earth.

Waited over an hour past my appointment time- no apology. I had a extremely enlarged thyroid gland; was told "you're fine. tell your husband not to worry". It ended up being thyroid cancer. Doc. was also very reluctant to run tests for thyroid function, and I was given misinformation about the process. I was told I would only have to get an ultrasound or biopsy if things looked "really bad", which is completely inaccurate. Moral of the story- Steer clear. Mary Bartley is dismissive and rude.

Hands out drugs but only to addicts, if you have legitimate problems she won't address them. Just another lazy crappy "doctor" that's answer to anything is drugs.
