Were seen 30 mins after our appt, didn't dilate any of us, rushed off to lunch. Poor bedside manner after being irritated by insurance questions and with our choice to price shop for contacts.

Dr. Koonce knows how to treat patients of all ages. She listened to my concerns about my vision and made the right suggestions that addressed my needs. The office has convenient hours and a good location. I highly recommend Dr. Koonce.

I have been going to this practice for a few years now and always have a good experience with Dr. Koonce. I never have to wait too long and the exam is done fairly quickly. I don't have to wait long for the doctor to come into the room, as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with the exam and the thoroughness. So happy I changed eye doctors!

Dr. Koonce was effective as an eye doctor; however, I found her bedside manner to be somewhat off-putting. It has been several years since I last visited an eye doctor and haven't worn glasses in a very long time. Instead of asking if I had ever had issues while driving or when I was in school, she asked me questions like "Do you drive?" "Did you go to college?" in an ugly nearly accusatory tone. I understand the reasons for her questions but found the tone she used to be uncalled for.
