My mother was admitted to rutherford hospital, she is bipolar over 60 yrs. I thought they could help her, I was wrong after 5 days Dr. Joseph injected her with abilify, this medicine is not to get given to the elderly, dementia and high blood pressure all of which my mother has. He didn't not get my approval and I have power of attorney over her, she was released without me signing any discharge papers, she had food on her face, clothing and talking out of her head..he needs to be investigated. I have her now at Pardee Hendersonville where she was admitted with a UTI, low potassium and muscles stiffness, side effects of this drug.. please do not take your love ones suffering from mental illness to this doctor.. He's a wonderful doctor and he's easy to talk to and he takes the time to listen...! The right Dr./patient relationship can make all the difference!

Terrible, simply terrible and this is a review from someone very educated and highly intelligent. Doctors need to stop getting into this profession for the money and get into it because you genuinely care and your passionate about helping people! Greed should never be your motivation. This Dr. Joseph prescribes way too many prescriptions and has already just about destroyed a very close friend because of his incompetence. He or his staff cares nothing about you! I know from experience.

Dr. does not care about his patients. He runs patients in and out like cattle. Never follows up in the appropriate manner. To quick to jump to conclusions without knowing or understanding the facts. Will stop all prescribing of medication without any notice to patient. Staff not very competent in doing their job. Overall I would never recommend anyone to go to his facility. Unless you like being talked down to or treated like a POS.
