Based on one FNA inconclusive report told me I could have lung cancer. Seemingly didn’t even review report before meeting with me. Did not have any other test results to go by. What kind of doctor does that? FYI my petscan was completely clear!

This man is dangerous.....With out even am examining me and just looking at a cat scan he told me I have an inoperable tumor very deep in my scull After seeing a Dr in Gainesville this turned out to be thankfully a very bad nasal infection that was treated with antibiotics.

The very first time my mom and I came to see Dr Byers on a referral we were extremely happy. Even though we had received bad news, we felt like he had things under control and a good treatment plan. When we checked out we had the same experience, great staff who assured us they were gonna get on top of the necessary arrangements that needed to be made. Needless to say, things did not get done in a timely manner even though I would call several times a day. It took 3 weeks to get back in to see him with the biopsy report. I met Dr Byers for the first time today. I loved his laid back personality. He made me feel very comfortable to ask questions, took time to explain the situation, allowed me to look at my scan with him and found the mistake a radiologist had made when reading the scan. Yes, I would recommend Dr. Byers.

Did not wear mask appropriately, and did not indicate when he last washed his hands before touching my neck without gloves. Ultimately dismissive of my referral.

Dr Byers and his staff are very professional and thorough in all aspects of ENT care. Dr Byers is, hands down, one of the most knowledgeable and kind hearted physicians I have ever met!

On May 15th 2020 I had an accident, and dont think I would of made it without Dr Byers. He is professional, kind, caring, patient, and very skilled at what he does. He made me feel safe and calm. His staff is also amazing. I highly recommend Dr Byers and will forever be greatful to him.

Did not wear a mask!!!!

Excellent care and results of sinus infection operation (my 4th!). The wait time is annoying but not unusual for a doctor; be prepared and patient. He is worth the wait!

Waited for one and one half hours and still did not see the doctor. I left.

The timeliness of the doctor is awful. The appointment runs at least 60 minutes or more late. The office staff seems to be having fun while the patient’s wait on end. It doesn’t matter If a student is with the doctor because the doctor is setting an example of not respecting the patient’s time.

Dr Byers is extremely knowledgable & personable. Very caring & listens to his patients concerns. His team is wonderful. You too will be pleased.

I went to Dr. Byers for surgical removal of tonsil cancer and lymph nodes. He fully explained what I could expect and answered all questions. The surgery went as expected. No one can see the large scar on my neck because he followed an existing crease in the neck's skin. It looks like I had a plastic surgoen do it. His professionalism and excellent care were greatly appreciated.

Dr. Byers is a very skilled Trauma Surgeon in Sarasota, and I am very happy with my results. I highly recommend him to anyone.

The entire office staff was professional and thorough. Dr. Byers took his time with me explaining what he saw contributing to my chronic sinus issues. My recovery from the surgery was unbelievably comfortable and progressed right on schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Byers. Donna from Bradenton

Dr. Byers is a busy, busy man BECAUSE he takes his time with each of his patients. He is professional, understanding and dedicated to his practice and his patients. I do not mind waiting my turn because each of us (his patients) requires his full attention in dealing with our issues.

The WORST ENT doctor I've ever seen, and I've been to a few bad ones in my hometown of Sarasota, FL! He is a very young guy who did NOT understand my hearing loss! He mumbled, spoke very fast, and too softly! He had a "dead fish" handshake, and only recommended an expensive OTC nasal spray, AFTER I told him that nasal sprays DO NOT WORK for my severe nasal congestion! Do NOT bother to see this guy!

Fantastic explinations and professionalism! I had been bleeding uncontrollably for days and the doc fixed me right up shipshape! I had many questions he answered them. I have never been happier with any doctor. Highly reccommended.

Had to wait about a half hour past my scheduled appointment time, but it has to be difficult for this type of doctor to manage his time because some patients need more care or counseling than others. Dr. Breyer impressed me as a truly competent and knowledgeable physician. He is a “ no nonsense” type of person who gets to the point directly. His staff is truly outstanding and has him prepared with the patient’s background information and symptoms. I have trust and confidence in his abilities.

Dr Byers is kind, knowledgeable, gentle and easy to talk to. His staff is also very friendly and professional.

3 appointments the doctor was late to all 3 of the appointments 30 minutes to an hour. The last appointment my husband was in an exam room for 50 minutes and walked out as no one reappeared or said a word. Very unprofessional. We go to other doctors in the group and never have a time issue with them.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Byers and his exceptional staff. These amazing professionals are caring and diligent and worked to fit me in on several occasions when I was in pain. Dr. Byers is thorough, kind and yet to the point. Excellent care and service--I actually look forward to coming here because I KNOW I will leave feeling better! Highly recommend this entire office. Dr. Byers is an amazing doctor.

I originally had to wait 2 months for an appointment. The office called me within two weeks and got me in to see Dr. Byers within a few days. I really think it was pretty easy to schedule an appointment with him but because of the long original wait time, I have to give 4 stars. I guess the wait time indicates he is a very good doctor.

Saved my life, finally got a correct diagnosis

I have had allergies for over 30 years and the other allergy doctors I went to wanted to give me shots. After many years of shots and no improvement I was referred to Dr. Byers by my regular doctor.Dr Byers looked at me, prescribed an over the counter allergy relief medicine and a nasal spray. The next day I was breathing well again. Very happy!
