Matthew Cheng

We would love review Dr. Cheng but unable to see him, thanks to the unusual response from the front desk. Our Primary doctor recommended Dr. Cheng and faxed the Referral paperwork THREE times. When I called, they said they had nothing for us. Primary Doctor's office contacted them directly and finally, they called us to schedule an appt. By then, we had appt with a different pulmonologist. After that, Primary still wanted opinion from Dr. Cheng. When I called the office again, they refused to take us since we had gone to a different pulmonologist first. WHAT??? They must not need patients very bad. I don't know if the doctor knows how his front office is operating, but he needs to know. No way would I go to that office after all of this. It's bad enough having urgent health concerns. Then to be treated like this?? No way...

I would rate Dr. Cheng higher but his chief concern is to have an expensive sleep study performed so he can sell you CPAP equipment. If you just want care you are considered to be a "non compliant patient". Now you can go away as he makes it clear he no longer wants you! (no money to be made)

Dr. Cheng is very pleasant, thorough and genuinely cares for his patients. The exam is never rushed as is my experience with other specialists. Great pulmonary doctor if you are afflicted with severe asthma.
