Dr. Coombs is fantastic. Trying to reach the office to get an appointment or to get anything done is terrible. The staff just answers the phone, please hold and you sit for 30+ minutes. They always say it's busy. They are not open during lunch, so you can talk to anyone then when you are actually on your lunch hour. VERY FRUSTRATING ...

Dr. Coombs has been my PCP for about 3 years now - hands down, he's the best doctor I've ever had. As previous reviews mention - he always seems glad to see me, he's caring, he listens, and he's efficient. I never feel rushed during the appointment, but he somehow manages to get me in and out of there in 15-20 minutes usually. If you're looking for a new doctor, give him a call! Dr Coombs is a wonderful dr. He listens to you and he actually has feeling for whatever issues you are going through, but for the front office is a different story. I have been there and actually called to see if I could make another appointment because of previous issues with the front secretary ALWAYS PUTTING me on hold for over 45 mins over and over on the same days and happen EVERY TIME I CALL. So as she proceeded to put me on hold because I guess she was so busy with other customers, she was actually not working with other customers but talking to other staff members about what they have experienced in life and was laughing away… I called back and of course was put on hold again stating that they are so busy and she’s on the line with other customers and as I’m still sitting there made as you know what, she continued her conversations with her friends( other staff workers over Halloween decorations). So as I’m sitting there I wakes up to her and she told me to go and sit down that the dr can answer my question which she didn’t know, but it was about how rude she is and how she lies and puts patients on hold just so she can carry on with her conversation. It’s very unprofessional, rude, and no sympathy for people that are in need! This older lady probably in her 60s should not be working in the health field especially being a Secretary! Now I really have to be upset to complain because I never complain especially because I work in the health field and I know how busy it gets and especially these days. But I actually watched what she was doing and she should at the least be watched and reprimanded on her actions. I called once a few years ago she put me on hold and I just ended up going to the hospital and was admitted for 6 days. So please tell her that there are sick people on the other side of that phone that need help way before her conversation that she think that she NEEDS TO HAVE. But Dr Coombs is a wonderful person, and dr. Never a complaint with him. He even makes you feel like your family. I’m so happy to have had a friend that gave me his number. I just hate to see him get intertwined with her bad choices.

I've recently begun seeing Dr. Coombs as my PCP. He is both thorough and caring, takes his time to listen to my concerns, and offers health guidance accompanied with encouragement. I'm grateful to have found outstanding health care.

My daughter was made to feel like complete crap after leaving that office. She came in a couple minutes prior to her appointment, she forgot her insurance card. Supposedly it was the office manager that waited on her. She needs to find her bedside manner because she obviously did not display any whatsoever to my daughter at the desk. I called to let the office know how they treated my daughter. She didn’t even get to see the doctor. That woman said that she called my daughter on Friday and left a voicemail on her telephone number. On what to bring, what to do , how to come early etc. she lied about that on the phone to me, and she also lied to my daughter and told her that she called her several times and left messages on Friday. There was not one telephone call, not one text not one voicemail left by that woman. My daughter is so upset, that is making her condition worse because of that woman. I suggest that she has a talking to about how to treat your patients because obviously she forgot how to do that.

Dr coombs is great. But wait time to schedule an appointment was completely unacceptable.

Went in for a knew patient appointment. Very easy to find the staff is very nice. Dr. Coombs is very welcoming and very thorough, really listened to what I had to say.very nice gentlemen would definitely recommend.

I've had experience with both working in the medical field and unfortunately for along time now on the other side as a Patient that said experienced all types of care. After being diognosed w/a rare syndrome along w/a history of spinal cord surgeries... Goes w/o saying I'm a complicated client! how rare it truly is to find a gem in a family practice DR MATTHEW COMBS is just that & much more! He takes the time whatever it takes without ever giving me that brush off I'm triple booked feeling Ive come to know. I never expected to find such a gem here in the valley. One who goes outside the envelope to make u feel that level a safe u can believe in. He will gladly work with you! Not above you nor below you but as a team along side you! Which means he listens! ! Im grateful for him & his attention to detail and a great bedside manor. Great sense a humor a plus. A gem! God Bless him & his staff may he keep them safe and healthy! Thank You

Dr. Coombs is very kind and will listen to you very well. However the nurse practitioner just blew me off and did not help me with my antidepressants. I mentioned that I had a serious side effect with the currant medication and she just shrugged her shoulders and asked me... ASKED ME what I wanted to do. No please tell me what I need, please help me out don't just shrug me off like I am not important. . . I wish I would of just called and scheduled with Dr. Coombs because of that incident I switched doctors. Always ask for Dr. Coombs he will treat you very well. Dr. Coombs hands down is the best Doctor I’ve ever had. He has an awesome bedside manner, treats you with the utmost respect and takes the time to listen to everything you have to say. One of the most excellent doctors I have ever had. Has a great bedside manner. Helped me get my diabetes under control. Definitely would recommend!

I have recommended Dr. Coombs to my family and friends. He currently sees my husband, my uncle and I. My mother and father have been trying to switch Dr.'s, but unfortunately he is not accepting new patients at this time.

Very nice guy and a great doctor. Although being on hold to scedual an appointment for 15-25mins is unacceptable

I had postpartum depression for a year after my son was born. My Ob/Gyn made me feel horrible about the depression (or I should say the nurses) . So finally when I was about too give up (generally I mean my life) I called him and he was very encouraging, he got me on prozac and I have felt so much better. He is a wonderful doctor and listens, and tries real hard too make sure you feel at ease.

Thank you Dr. Coombs for saving my life! I am very grateful for this man. I recently switched from my family doctor of 20 yrs to Dr. Coombs. I was very pleased with the time he took with me as a new patient. He asked one additional time if there was anything else he should know about me. I showed him a lump on my neck, which was discussed with a local ENT I had been seeing regularly that year. Dr. Coombs strongly recommended I have an ENT examine it. NEW ENT-result-Low grade, stage 1 cancer.
