Dr. Matthew Eric Krupnick

I’ve been going to Dr Krupnick for years, & I think he is a great Doctor. His staff on the other hand stinks!!!! I’ve had multiple issues with them over the years. But this last time is forcing me to look for a new Gastro! I was having problems & was in extreme pain that I could hardly talk!!!! The rude ignorant person I was spoke with was cold & uncaring that I was in so much pain & had the nerve to ask me for my updated insurance!!! I told her I could hardly walk!! But she didn’t care! She said she would give Dr Krupnick the message & call me back!! Well I never received a call back from anyone! That not acceptable!!! Had I not gotten help elsewhere, I could have ended up in a hospital!! The Dr. needs to get rid of his office staff & get people that are knowledgeable for that type of business & be a little more caring when patients call for help!!!

I was very afraid to do an out of office colonoscopy procedure that wasn’t performed in a local hospital but the facility I had it done in Morris County off Route 10 (Cedar Knolls) could not have been the most respectful, sanitary, had professional & highly attentive medical staff with great nurses, anesthesiologist and of course Dr Krupnick made the whole procedure pain free. I would highly recommend them to any person in need of this important procedure.

Dr okay. Office staff Terrible!!! Has been for the 5 years I have been seeing Dr Krupnick. I called to complain and the nurse had the nerve to tell me the problems were due to the pandemic. What nerve to hide behind that the office staff was bad way before vivid. I could go on and on about long hold times etc etc best thing for me is find another office its not worth it.

I saw him in about 4 months ago. Schedule me for test at Ridgedale Surgical and they do not take my AETNA plan. Called his office a number of times and told them this. I stopped at his office 4 times and was told I would be contacted,, that never happened. Know almost 4 month later I get contacted that they want to do a Televisit. I spoke with him and he said everything right and told me I would be contacted within a hour by his office, that never came. Maybe his is an OK doctor, I wouldn't know but his office staff is weak and seems they just don't care...

Dr Krupnick is great but the entire staff is TERRIBLE! I'm getting a new gastroenterologist because I have been out of my stomach ulcer medicine for over a week. Both the pharmacy and I have left many messages. I have personally called every day this week (it's Friday) and still no prescription refill and no call back. Now I'm starting to vomit blood again. I have no choice but to find a new gastroenterologist.

Dr Krupnick is great. He has excellent bedside manners, explains everything. He is always on time for appointments.

Very disappointed in the care that I received. Met with Dr once he sent me for blood work and ultrasound, I was called by his assistant who advised me that everything was normal and wished me luck. I called back to say I was in severe pain and needed help, I was told since my results were normal there is nothing more that he can do, because of his unwillingness to help I ended up in the ER that same day because of my pain and was vomiting blood. I would not recommend him at all.

Dr. Krupnick is a great doctor, He treated me when I was in the hospital, did my colonoscopy and I have had a couple of appointments with him. He is very knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner, caring and thoroughly explains information to you (regardless of how many times you ask for clarification). He returns phone calls quickly too. His staff is friendly.

I've had a very good experience with Dr. Krupnick. He took the time to listen to symptoms, scheduled a procedure, and followed up. Office always called back as well.

Went to this Dr. for Gallbladder issues. After surgery, I continued to have problems. I called his office to speak with him, he was annoyed by my phone call and told me once surgery is performed he no longer has interaction with the patient. Really??? Went to the ER where his partner came in. Dr. Rubolov. He was rude. Viewed the CT Scan, said he didn't know what was wrong with me and left the hospital w/no further direction for the nurses. Never again.

The individuals answering the phones off hours for the answering service are extremely rude and unprofessional. It's so important to have empathy and people skills when you are dealing with people calling in with medical emergencies and they don't seem to have any of those qualities. The doctors in the group are average and I was thinking of changing groups anyway, but the office staff definitely made my decision and easy one! Stay away !!
