This was my first visit and I was pleased both with the through explanations and methodical cleaning and assessment from Doug, the hygienist, and Dr Paper’s exam, discussion, and gentle chair side manner.

great visit with Dr. Paper. The dental hygienist was very thorough and explained everything as he was working. Dr. Paper explained to me what he saw in the x-rays. He is conservative in his treatment and I like that.

Just moved to town. Had a wonderful recommendation for Dr. Paper. He and the staff were as great as we were told they were. I highly recommend him as well!

My previous dentist retired and being a basically terrified patient, took a chance on Compassionate Dentistry because of the name. Can I tell you?—-this was a miracle- a super kind and smart dentist that didn’t judge me at all and talked me through everything as though I was his own mother. The staff is super sweet , full of smiles… and Dr Paper’s assistant was just perfect. She immediately handed everything he needed like a mind reader. I felt very assured by their expertise. I wasted a couple of years during the pandemic dreading what to do- I am so glad I cow- girled up a wish I had gone there sooner. I can’t recommend enough!

I started my relationship with Compassionate Dentistry on November 5th. My first call was for information purposes. Since then, I have experienced three separate appointments- 1st comprehensive examination, 2nd cleaning, 3rd for a filling. I am impressed by the professionalism that this dental center has shown. We have been with Dr Paper and his staff for some years now. Anna is the most through and most gentle a hygienist one could hope for. Dr. Paper is excellent and I especially appreciate the time he takes to explain things. Under current shutdowns and gradual openings of dental and medical offices, I was fortunate enough to get scheduled for a crown to be recemented which had come off weeks earlier and a scheduled hygiene appointment. Safeguards have been put in place for staff and patients. I have been a patient for 32 years. The staff is always professional and thorough. Any questions or concerns are addressed. I went in today for my semi-annual cleaning. Dr. Paper just reopened after the COVID shutdown, and the process was very smooth and safe. I answered a few questions from my car about my health, had my temperature taken and went in for my cleaning. It was clear the team was prepared to reopen. They had upgraded PPE, safe cleaning procedures and a streamlined process to reduce traffic and time. As always my teeth feel great and it was an excellent experience. Compassionate Dentistry cares about their patients and I can always count on them to ‘do it right.’ If you are looking for a great dental practice, please read the following. I’ve been seeing Dr. Paper since moving to Maryland 10 years ago. He and his entire staff are amazing. If finding excellent dentistry with an easy touch is important to you, this is the place to be. I had a condition where my four upper front teeth were worn way down, with not much left. Dr. Paper was able to fit them with crowns and now they look great. Dr. Paper is very patient and explains all the details of the work to be done and any risks. I highly recommend his practice.

I wish Cmpassionate Denistry had been available years ago. 1. Dental hygeniest (Anna) taught me more about how & why of CORRECT dental care. More than toothbrush/toothpaste. 2. They are accommodating when something comes up and we need an unscheduled appointment. We feel well cared for and appreciate the time Dr Paper takes to outline treatment options and trade offs. It was mine and my daughter's first time to the office. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The hygienists explained everything as they moved along and then Dr. Paper spent about 5 minutes talking to me and then 5 minutes talking to my daughter. We didn't feel rushed and we felt cared for. I was taken on time, which seems to be becoming rather rare lately. After an in-depth explanation, Dr. Paper expeditiously took care of the problem. Throughout Dr. Paper and his assistant, Stephanie, explained what they were doing and why to ensure a long term correction. Afterwards, I was given easy to understand, short term care instructions. Overall I was very satisfied... again. Other than teeth cleaning and check ups, going to the dentist is probably one of my least favorite things to do. But Dr. Paper and his all of his staff make it pleasurable. You will receive a very high level of knowledgeable, professional care. I LOVE to go to the dentist because of this practice. I have been a patient of this practice for over 20 years. Dr. Goodman retired & sold this practice to Dr.Paper & the transition was smooth. Dr. Paper is a personable, knowledgeable & thorough dentist. When I go in every 6 months to the hygienist, Dr Paper always does an exam so that he is up to date & aware of my dentistry situation. The hygienist always does a thorough cleaning & examination of my teeth, gums & tongue. When I enter the office I am always greeted with a welcoming greeting from the receptionist. My husband & I have been patients here so long we feel like family. I called them my “Dream Team” because I have healthy teeth & gums & no serious oral issues. I received a return call as soon as the office opened and was scheduled with an appt within a few hours. We have received care from this practice for over 30 years, first from Dr. Goodman, now with Dr. Paper, and for most of that time from our marvelous hygienist, Anna Fiorio. So often these days you have to choose between good office staff or good docs. This is the only medical facility I know of that is flawless. Office staff are knowledgeable, helpful, warm and welcoming. The medical professionals are highly skilled and gentle. They invite questions, address concerns and provide comfort. They take their name seriously. Compassionate Dentistry is evident at every step.
