Dr. Matthew R. Selmon

Excellent staff and service.

He was recommended by a friend many years ago and I have been happy with him and his nurse!

Annual visit. Medical records were mixed up with another individual. Dr Selmon tried to get it straight. Have done stress test echocardiogram since visit with Dr Selmon

Appointment was made after being contacted by Dr. Selman's office. I had not seen him in about 2 years. Good visit, stress test was scheduled, but I was not told the stress test would take 4 hours. I understood it would take 1 hour.

If there's a better cardiologist than Matt Selmon, I don't know who it would be.

Procedure for varicose veins.

Dr. Selmon and his staff are wonderful! Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and I had a short wait time. Dr. Selmon was very informative about the condition I had and he answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this doctor and their Austin Heart group.

This was my first time going to Dr. Selmon everybody was so friendly and the wait time was not long at all..

I feel very fortunate to have had the benefit of Doctor Selmon's care, experience, and consummate professionalism during and after what was a scary event for myself. His demeanor, obvious expertise, and good humor (and that of the entire team that he works with at the Austin Heart Hospital) helped greatly to take away the stress and anxiety during the event itself. My follow up visit at his office was informative, pleasant, and helpful - I really could not ask for more. He took the time to show me more details about the procedure I underwent and took all the time needed to listen and give me thorough answers to any questions that I had. I am more than comfortable putting my complete trust in his decisions about my ongoing heart health care.

Although the thought of having a cardiac review is not to be felt as a pleasant occasion, a visit to Austin Heart, and especially Dr. Selman, is looked upon with good feelings. You already know that you will be treated with courtesy and fairness. I am glad that I have his services. Yes, I would recommend him to everyone.

Always enjoyable and very professional

Knowledgeable, good listener and a great bedside manner. All of these things have been evident in the last ten years since he saved my life in the ER in 2007.

Friendly, helpful receptionist, competent nursing staff and a physician who takes time to go into detail about what may be wrong and how to correct it. Very satisfied with my visit.

A couple of weeks ago I had surgery to remove varicose veins in my leg. Dr. Selmon and his team were great. I was apprehensive about the surgery but the pain during the procedure was minimal, and now my leg feels a lot better. I will have surgery on my other leg soon. I'm looking forward to not having to deal with the burning and pain I've had for the past few years.

Dr. Selmon is through and efficient, and takes time to make sure you are comfortable with the information. He has been my heart doctor for about 7 years. I almost look forward to seeing him every 6 to 12 months.

I feel very confident in Dr. Selmon’s care. There’s some confusion about the tests he’s ordered for me. The printed order is different from what is actually scheduled.

Dr. Selmon has been my heart doctor for many years now. I moved 35 miles away a few years ago and he is the only one of my Austin doctors I have chosen to keep seeing. He is very friendly, has a great bedside manor and doesn't judge me on my bad habits. At the same time he and his staff are professional and meticulous. Dr. Selmon is very thorough and spends time with you in order to understand any issues. He communicates clearly andake sure that you understand. His assistant is excellent also.

Dr matthew Selmon MD has been my cardiologist since 2015. He is an excellent caring person. The last visit I got I has an appointment in 3 business days. My pcp was concern about something. Dr Selmon checked everything out and calmed my concerns. I never felt rushed or disregarded

I have seen Dr. Selmon several times for my venous reflux. I have always had great outcomes. I love Dr. Selmon and his team and recommend him and his office to anyone.

Dr. Selmon's credentials are impeccable. He communicates very well and listens well. I trust him implicitly with decisions regarding my heart health.

Dr. Selmon is an exceptionally fine physician! Not only was his medical training outstanding, but his patient skills are above and beyond. He is kind, gentle, and easy to understand. He is always willing to explain things in detail. Dr. Selmon is definitely a favorite physician for me, and I feel extremely fortunate to be under his care. His PA, Nancy Rose, is amazing, too. She also facilitates my understanding of medicines and procedures. They are a great team!

Dr. Selmon did an wonderful job with my left heart catheterization. He made me feel comfortable and fortunately I was out of the hospital the same day. His staff was excellent as well. I could not be more pleased with my experience.
