Dr. Matthew Turner

Not a patient but keep receiving texts and calls regarding a patients prescriptions after notifying staff via voicemail and over the phone that they have the wrong phone number for their patient. Doctor may be good but staff seems irresponsible for continuing to send information to my phone number after being notified it wasn't the right number.

I would give Dr. Matt Turner and his office 0 stars if I could. He has been my daughter's doctor since we moved to Dalhart when she was a year old. She has been having extreme pain in her stomach for over a year now and it took him and the hospital that long to figure out it is her gallbladder. If that wasn't bad enough his staff can't communicate with each other or any other doctor around. I know he himself can't perform the surgery but he can't seem to refer her to a doctor that accepts her insurance. She is still in an extreme amount of pain and has to put of her college dreams for another year and she had already waited three years. In addition to that she can't even begin to look for another job since moving to a different town. It is heartbreaking to get sobbing calls from my daughter because she is in so much pain and extremely frustrated. I would give Dr. Matt Turner and his office 0 stars if I could. For the past 9 years Dr Turner and his team have went above and beyond for my family. I moved two hours away and still take my kids to see him when we have a need to go to the Dr. just yesterday I called about a rash on my 7 month old. I left a message and was called after business hours by one of his great nurses to let me know she put the prescription in for me! Just this morning the same nurse called to check in on my son, asked how he was doing! That is more than most places will do. The love and care they have showed all 3 of my children is tremendous! Dr. Turner, Spends the least amount of time with patients as possible. You never know if you will catch him on a bad day or a good day. He once told me, since I’m in a good mood today I will send you over to the ER for fluids and medication since I’m in a good mood. I wasn’t aware being in a good mood depended on a Doctor doing his job. A job that I’m paying him to do.

Doctor Turner is a very awesome Doctor! I would highly recommend him. The two star rating is because the staff in his office are not so good! Calls are never returned despite repeated messages, I've been trying to get medication for my kids for a week, while I'm out of town and no one will return my calls! We are very happy with the drs and p.a.s in this office. Very nice atmosphere and nice people.

Dr. Turner is an amazing Dr. He delivered all 3 of my children, who are now all teens. He is a very caring person and he has a very beautiful family.

Dr. Turner went above and beyond the call to duty. Out daughter from Maryland was riding across country with Bike and Build when she got ill and needed medical help. Dr. Turner realized that she had no one to help her get the needed medications from a pharmacy across town so he drove over and got the medications for her. In addition to this generous act of kindness he did an excellent job of calming her and explaining to her what happened and how to avoid it in the future. Dr. Turner is the type of person and we should all strive to be. Dr. Turner went above and beyond the call to duty.
