Maurice Vincent

I would not be alive today were it not for Dr. Vincent’s skill and abilities. I have a cranial defect so rare that few doctors ever see it in their careers. Thanks to Dr. Vincent’s skill and Ingrid on his staff, I was referred to a surgeon who saved my life with a revolutionary new way to repair. My condition is not currently curable by modern techniques. But the surgery allowed me to live a functional lifestyle to the present. I have since moved from his area and specialists here are not familiar with my condition. Dr. Vincent took the time to deal with this complicated diagnosis and properly referred me to specialists when the condition required. I consider Dr. Vincent a friend and have the ultimate respect for him and Ingrid.

I am calling around to find a new primary care doctor. I just had a horrible experience with the “office manager” when trying to schedule a new appointment I mentioned being gay and needing an appointment for “prep” (HIV prevention). She proceeded to tell me that this is a family practice and they do not see those kind of patients. She told me this three times! I left the call crying and offended. I explained to her I do not have HIV and so then she said “oh, I’m sorry I shouldn’t have said that, but again we don’t see patients like you”. I have never felt like this before when calling a doctors office. I felt belittled and incredibly hurt. If you’re looking for a doctor I warn you to look elsewhere!

Dr Vincent is a great doctor. But the lady at the front desk is incompetent. The Dr ordered an MRI for me on Jun 14. I never received a call about it being approved. I finally got a letter from my provider on Jul 1 that the MRI had been approved. The approval date was Jun 16. I have a pinched nerve and have been in extreme pain for two weeks. I have never had the phone calls answered. It always goes to a voice mail, which may or may not get returned. This is not the way to treat patients. I have been going to Dr Vincent for 20 years and will keep going until he retires. Hes a great Dr and takes time with each patient.

Dr. Vincent takes time and care with his patients, which can sometimes result in longer wait times, but he is worth waiting for! He has been caring for my grandparents for years. They feel comfortable and trust his care and advice, as do I.

Excellent. Went in for med refills from other vacationing doctor but, instead of filling out order, asked me to sit for quick evaluation. Because of this, my thyroid disease was discovered and subsequently treated successfully. Without his intervention, I would have been in a lot of trouble later.

My husband went to see Dr Vincent after my sister Who is his patient reccomended him. 1st Issue) It took me calling the answering service to have the office answer their phones or to return my 5 messages I had left to get an appt. After my husband's 1st appt the woman at the Front desk told us that she would be emailing my husband in 5 days of when the MRI would be set up. It is now 5/24 and his appt was last month on the 23rd. I have left 9 total messages with this office! Today was the 10th call I made and left a message today letting them know how could it take over a month to hear back from a doctors office regarding an MRI for a patient who is in extreme pain??!! About 30 minutes later my husbands receives a call not from Dr. Vincent‘s office but from Brea radiology letting us know that they needed to set up an appointment for him and that they had just barely got in the request! that is horrible customer service from Dr Vincent’s office! The doctor was great! But his staff is not educated on Patient Care at all and that’s sad because he’s a good doctor! I myself work for a doctors office and have never failed to get something done for a patient that needed Things done like an Urgent MRI.. will never return to this office! Been going to see Dr.for over 30 yrs

I will follow him wherever or change my insurance to have him as my doctor. He takes the time to listen and has always been accurate with his diagnosis. Dorothy Barry

20 years ago, when I discovered the terrible medical treatment my parents received as 70-yr old seniors (their health questions met with scolding remarks & went unanswered), I took on a proactive role in their health care - together we searched for and thank God, found Dr. Maurice Vincent. We're each blessed to know him as our personal physician - my parents, my husband and I love Dr. Vincent. He is a one-of-a-kind quality physician & individual; we highly recommend him!! -LillianS
