Max A Luna

Luna has a very high regard of himself but a terribly low regard for the intelligence or the ability of comprehend anything by this patient! Very arrogant and rude. Basically it is "his way or the highway" When I asked a question regarding a recommendation he gave he immediately said "if I did not want to take his advice then I was wasting his time and I should leave"! I did not indicate I was not taking his advice, I simply asked a question which, after scolding me for 5 minuets, he did answer. He want on to tell me his patient rating was above all but 2 other doctors and he did not need me there as there were many other people which listened to him waiting for a cancellation so they could get an appointment. I have never met a Doctor like that in all my life.

Gets very angry if a question is asked and does not answer. His attitude was "if you do not want listen, then you are wasting your time". However I only asked a question, for more information, I did not in any way refuse his advice! Very arrogant!. Went on to tell me how popular he was in patient ratings, how he was above all other doctors at The University of Virginia hospital and he had people waiting for an cancellation to get in to see him. Very dismissive.

Dr. Luna was seeing my Father for a while, Dr. Luna was very rude, and uncompassionate to him. He gave my Dad advice on his diet...which Dad followed as closely as he could, and when his blood pressure was taken at his last visit, the Dr. rudely implied that Dad hadn't followed his advice, and that's why his blood pressure was up. He told Dad that he needed to walk more, and I understand that, but when Dad said that it really hurts his hip to walk up hill, the Dr. acted frustrated with him, and

I HAVE BEEN PATIENT OF DR LUNA FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. HE IS AN OUTSTANDING PHYSICIAN, HAS ALWAYS BEEN PROFESSIONAL, PROVIDES HELPFUL INFORMATION AND FOLLOWS MY HEALTH HISTORY CLOSELY. HE WELCOMES MY QUESTIONS, TAKES TIME TO LISTEN TO ANY CONCERNS THAT I HAVE AND ADDRESSES THEM IMMEDIATELY. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM WITHOUT HESITATION TO EVERYONE.

Examined on 3/23/17 by Dr. Luna. He was very kind, understanding, thorough, listened very well, and has a great sense of humor. Definitely recommend him.

Dr. Luna was amazing! He is very caring and knowledgeable. I felt much reassured after visiting with him and his wonderful staff!

Abrupt personality. 1st visit went very well ,was very pleased. Dr. Luna didn't explain instructions on care clearly the first visit, on the second visit his comments were "I am wasting my time here". Needless to say we are switching cardiologist.
