Mazen Shoukfeh

Very ominous and dismissive. Stated that he suspected I had cardiomyopathy based on an EKG. I showed the EKG to three other cardiologists and they felt he was crazy. I was tested multiple times and my heart is normal.

He was rather ominous, poor bedside manner, and claimed my heart was enlarged. Was also very dismissive, I sought a second opinion and the other cardiologist felt that Dr. Shoukfeh was very poor in his suspicions. Subsequent tests were all normal. Avoid this doctor, I feel he's unstable.

I was seen quickly, but dr Shoukfeh was very ominous and said I had an enlarged heart. He kept on saying how ill I was and expressed doubts that I was an active person. I sought a second opinion and guess what? Dr shoukfeh was incorrect. Please avoid him like the plague.

Dr. Shoukfeh is the Best Cardiologist around. I’ve been his patient for over 20 years and he’s compassionate, always on time and actually looks you in the eye when you’re talking to him.

Dr. Shoukfeh performed as anticipated. However, beware because Beaumont bills separately for the facility use and is more than twice other outpatient facilities ( $260 vs. $125 ). I was expecting all fees for services to come from Dr.Shoukfeh and not Beaumont as well. They do not inform you of this.

Dr. Shoukfeh is very kind and compassionate. He never rushes through your appointment and takes whatever time is needed to answer all of your questions.

I have been going to Dr Shoukfeh since 2004. He has always been compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, listen to any & all concerns. He has very good bedside manners. I highly recommend him.

Our patient-physician relationship began with cardiac care and surveillance in 2015 annually. I am lifelong coumadin due to Factor V Leiden. Vascular care with Dr. Shoukfeh for venous insufficiency began in 2017 when he performed necessary venous ablation and also sclerotherapy bilaterally when my previous vascular doctor would not due to my coumadin use. My legs immediately began feeling better, the heaviness and achiness improved dramatically. I will be returning for additional sclerotherapy.

Dr. Shoukfeh has been treating a family member for 15 years and has never failed to answer a question or show compassion. If only all Doctors were so thorough and caring.

Dr. Shoukfeh is an extraordinary cardiologist. He is personable, compassionate, a great soul. I have total confidence in him!
