Dr. Tucker does everything to protect her employees and patients in the midst of the pandemic. I feel very safe. The protective gears the staff use are very likely more advance and complete than what the doctors and nurses in some hospitals have. The procedure does take a bit longer but all for protection of everybody.

I am obsessed with this new tool they have that uses water vibrations to help clean plaque off clients teeth! It was quick, less painful, and left my teeth feeling exceptionally clean. I really enjoyed working with Kelsey, who was so friendly, gentle, attentive, and honest! I can't stand feeling like I am not being told the whole truth, and I didn't feel that way here. Dr. Tucker is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure to give you all of the facts. She also acknowledges that expenses are a consideration, which is great.

This was my second visit to this office but my first cleaning. The hygienist Kelsey was the best I've ever had in my life and I'm 66! Exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough and very proficient at her skills. She is also very personable and made me feel at ease. I thought I had been getting good cleanings in the past but compared to this they were definitely subpar. Dr. Tucker did a complete exam exam afterward and explained all the results of the cleaning and X-rays and explained what I needed to monitor going forward. My last visit there was for a one day crown which has held up beautifully since it was done. This office is also exceptionally well run and has all the modern technology. So they get my highest recommendation.

I’m EXTREMELY particular about three types of professional services; hairdressers, gynecologists and dentists. They need to be able to listen, to have great bedside manners and be gentle. Dr. Tucker and her staff hit all three and much much more, whether you need regular work done or more sophisticated cosmetic dentistry. I recommend her without reservation.

Dr. Tucker and her staff provide a friendly, efficient and highly professional dental practice. It is actually a pleasure to go the dentist! My appointment for November 5, 2019 is typical of the kind of service they provide: 1. I had to cancel an earlier appointment in early October and at that time they were so busy I could not get an appointment until January 2020. However, they were able to accommodate me for November 5 which my teeth appreciated very much. 2. Kelsey, the dental hygienist, did a great job cleaning my teeth, pointing areas and techniques that required attention and explaining things very well. She found an area of concern on my lower canine tooth. 3. Dr. Tucker examined the area of concern and applied antibiotics and other medicine which will hopefully resolve the issue without a trip to the periodontist. I am 65 y.o. and have seen a lot of dentists, but this group is as good as it gets.

I went to my periodic dental cleaning and exam. The office is modern and has the state of the art equipment. Practically everything is digitized (including the x-rays and the charts on the patient's progress and status). Dr. Tucker and her staff are thorough and welcome and answer any questions. They are personable and know what they are doing.

I had my first procedure done with Dr. Tucker this morning...a crown and laser gum reshaping. I was a bit nervous since I had never had the gum process done before. Dr. Tucker and her exceptionally calming assistant Rachel were both excellent at helping me relax and the procedure went smoothly and exactly within the time frame predicted. They let me listen to my own music on my iPad during the process which was really helpful for mood adjustment! They have an ultra modern, clean, very technology savvy office and all of their techniques used are state of the art. I had a new crown perfectly placed at the end of the visit.....something that would take close to a month if done the old school way. So this practice gets by full endorsement and highest recommendation.

I trust Dr. Tucker's advise and expertise more than any dentist I've visited in the DC area. The wait time is always minimal, and all staff -- from the front desk, to the assistants and hygenists, to Dr. Tucker -- are all outstanding. My 3 year old had her first check up and cleaning. The staff were super patient, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter felt very comfortable, so did I. Check in was very easy, the appointment started on time. They have little play area for the kids in the waiting room, which definitely helps if you have to wait with a toddler. I always try to get to my appointment a little early, and they always take me a little early! Somehow they have always managed to squeeze me in when I have what I think is an emergency. I always feel like they are treating me, rather than just teeth. All of the people in the office have been wonderfully professional and friendly, whether cleaning my teeth, scheduling an appointment, being proactive on my teeth, or working with the insurance company. Everything in the office is so modern that I understand more than I ever did before about what they are doing to me that day. It's a bit of a distance for me to get there from Silver Spring, but well worth the trip.

Great service! The gal who cleaned my daughter's teeth was super friendly and attentive. She placed my daughter and me at ease; therefore, I would definitely bring my family back. That said, before our appointment, we are asked to fill out new patient information online, which I immediately did. When I arrived at the dentist office, I was then asked to sign these documents via a signature pad on the counter. But they couldn't show me what I was signing. I was told that it was the new patient forms that I submitted and that no changes had been made to the forms. But the signature pad was merely a signature pad. I couldn't verify that I was actually signing for the information I sent in, or that "no changes had been made." I don't think it's fair to ask someone to sign something they can't see. When I asked to see, the receptionist--frustrated--tried to tilt her computer screen sideways to show me, but she couldn't manage to do it, and so I was asked again to just sign and take them at their word. I don't think it's a good business practice to ask people to sign when they can't see what they are signing, and those short two minutes of awkwardness cast a shadow on the otherwise very positive experience at Mehr Tucker.

I have been to many dentists before and I have not met anyone so nice and charming like Dr. Tucker and her staff. I came to the USA to visit my son's family, I am 78 years old. Got a problem with dental implants which bothered me for months and I figured that was how it was supposed to be. My son called Dr. Tucker's office, they have been using for 15 years. Dr. Tucker was able to find time on same day that we called and finally my problem was fixed. I feel extremely lucky that they have been able to find such a kind and competent dentist.
