Dr Brennan is an excellent physician who is compassionate and extremely intelligent. I have been in his care for many years and have witnessed him fight for patient rights more than people realize. His staff is very caring and efficient. God bless them all for performing a very hard job.

He been my doctor for long time,he had help me we my back pain, he understand my problem and have done everything to help me.

Dr Brennan prescribed me enough opiates to kill a large horse between 18 and 36 years of age. He also prescribed me Valium for a long period of time and forced me to go cold turkey off of it. This could have caused seizures or even killed me. I was very fortunate to have survived me experiences with Dr Brennan. He also kicked me off the opiates cold turkey after what I believe to be a falsified drug test. This was extremely dangerous. If I could've gave him negative stars I would have. If it’s pills you are after, he’s your guy. Staff was rude and unprofessional. After going to Silver Hills Pain Program and being put on Seboxone, when I was released, I called to make a follow up with him and was told by his office staff that he would no longer see me.

Worked with doc Brennan for 20 years now. He's helped me to live my life to its fullest. Professional helpful and caring.

Thanks to Dr Brennan and his professional guidance and monitoring the issues i have from the US Army. I can live life, work hard and move on with life. His staff are always professional, kind and willing to help. It's always a pleasure during my visits. Thank you so much

Dr Brennan is a great doctor he cares for his patient's even when its crazy busy in the office In my experience he takes time to take care of you

I realize we're all in the midst of a pandemic; however, I had my medical records transferred to this physician's office and they confirmed receipt. When I attempted to make an appointment, the only thing they said was, "call back around June 1," which I did. I've had numerous conversations with various staff members, all who promise to get back to me and today, the last woman I spoke with had NO recollection of our previous conversation. And then had the audacity to put me on Perma-hold. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Now I have to go through the entire process again of transferring my records to a physician who will see me. His office staff has literally deferred me for months and has left me hanging.

Dr. Brennan is the very best, knowledgeable, compassionate, etc. doctor despite being in an incredibly difficult specialty! I wouldn’t go to anyone else!

He needs to be in a group practice. He bites off more than he can chew as the saying goes. He is a good guy but unfortunately he gets under stress easily and sick easily so he ideally need to be in a group practice so he’s not trying to be a superhero and take on way too many patients. He is an empathetic patient physician but he’s touch and go. So unfortunately you never know which side you’re going to get. Bottom line is he does care. He just gets under stress easily and then that’s when it seems as if he doesn’t care. So I recommend him but just try to be empathetic knowing the nature of his job is tough, especially in private practice.

Didn't have to even visit to find problems with his this practice. Tried to explain my reason for needing a doctor in a timely manner, as I have an emergency, she hung up on me. Better now than later. Does anyone else that is in need of pain management find the practitioners in that field to be lunatics? Like maybe they're abusing their medication or something worse. I was a patient of Dr. Brennan for a little over a year...I give 5 star because this is a review FOR Dr. Brennan AND NOT HIS STAFF. The first day I was there he tried a different type of medication then what I was prescribed, i was almost in tears because, I’ve been on so many different medications and I knew the medication I was currently on was working for me, however the doctor that had been prescribing me was retired, doctor Brennan looked at me and said “do you think I’m not going to help you?” And my I nodded my head bc I thought he was going to shrug me off like all the other doctors. I am young, and anytime I tell a medical professional what medication I take they immediately treat me differently, they act like you’re a common drug seeker. Not dr. Brennan, after a week of it not working, he tried to prescribe another medication similar , but for anti abuse, which was fine but my insurance did not cover it, so then he put me back on my normal medication. He referred me to the sleep center, and a few other places to develop a treatment plan. He actually listens to you. He is extremely helpful and compassionate. Dr. Brennan cares about his patients. He is very much worried about the opioid epidemic and how doctors that try to help people are being crucified on a daily basis. so I totally understand he has to cover his own tushie. It is a very fine line. However, when it comes to his staff, I have state insurance, which they do not accept, so I had to pay out of pocket $120 a visit every month. A few times dr. Brennan let me come every other month to help me out, but god forbid you owe them money , I forgot what her name was , Mary I think, but she is not very nice. She was extremely rude and refused to give me a chance to pay, also they withheld my medication until I paid in full. So good doctor if you have accepted insurance or pockets lined with gold. Dr. Brennan of Fairfield and his staff are the most caring people I have known for numerous years. Dr. Brennan has given me quality of life. My father was a highly regarded GP and truly cared about his patients. Dr Brennan is a hero in his field and is one of the finest Dr's I have ever met. I have immense respect for this man.

After I was told I needed a referral and finally got one I called back and now Dr Brennan not taking new Patients. But I must say, His office staff is the most Obnoxious rude Unprofessional staff I have ever had to deal with . while researching Dr Brennan other site said he was a good doctor if you can deal with his staff . You always wonder if these reviews are correct ?? I can say... I should have listened to the other reviews.

Dr. Brennan help save my life. I suffer from my debilitating chronic pain conditions, such as CRPS, fibromyalgia, osteopenia, spinal stenosis, scoliosis of the spine, degenerative disc disease, and more. I have been going to him for about 5 years. He listened to me with compassion, and didn't treat me like a drug seeker. He has stood by my side with all of the craziness with the new CDC regulations. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. My mother has been going to Dr Brennan for years and to even get one simple form signed I was met with staff who were completely disrespectful and rude, specifically a lady named Joey. I would highly recommend finding an office who cares about their patients. It breaks my heart that my mother has to deal with this poor of service and is treated so poorly. Saw the Dr once then it was APRN Dr not helpful

True pain manager..considers the whole patient and actually studies and learns your unique needs and responses to treatments available to zero in on what will be effective for you. Dr Brennan is one of the best in his field and has state of the art approach to pain management..he is not a pill pusher as a quick fix. I have been his patient for about 8 years and he transformed my quality of life for the better while at the same time cutting my daily quanity of meds by more than half. He offers solutions many other doctors are not even aware of. Highly recommend Dr Brennan but on the con side of his practice do not recommend the aprn . I just has a very poor experience with this doctors office. We were referred by by 2 doctors. I was informed that they were not taking on any new patients until after the first of the year. Receptionist put me thru to a PA. She also said that they would need my wife's records etc. I told her I have the MRI disc, MRI report, and records from her doctors. She said no no, they have to come from doctors office. When I started questioning the rational for that request the Jeckle and Hyde personality appeared. I have never been insulted like that in my entire life, and I am 71 years young. I realize that pain specialists are under scrutiny from the FDA and State government but this interrogation and rudeness was not called for. We are not looking for pain meds just for a second opinion, my wife has been suffering for 6 years and it is to the point she cannot walk. Dr. B has made me whole again. I was to the point where there was No Quality or Happiness left for me. Dr. Brennan has a understanding that is very rare. Dr. Brennan has studied for years and has a physical understanding of how our brain and body work or do not. I do not know what I would do w/o Dr. Brennan but it would not be as Great as it is w/ Him in My World!:>)

After suffering from great pain from a herniated disk, I was referred to get help from a local professional in order to avoid more painful commute. In spite of the negative reviews i read about this practice I started the process of getting an appointment. A month and a half after I started the process of scheduling an appointment, and in spite of my primary care doctor faxing all pertinent information and more, the clerks at this offices kept missing my papers, and never gave me an appt.

Dr. Brennan is one of a kind. He is very compassionate and professional. He is very caring about his patients and treat them with respect and dignity. He is a five stars doc.

I have seen Dr. Brennan for over 20 years; I had pretty much given up hope and resolved to life w/out walking and in pain until I met him and he has been helping me for years now. I now enjoy a quality of life I only dreamed of before. I highly recommend him to people who have given up hope and are sick of getting the run around.
