Great doctor

Doctor is very pleasant and informative.

Seen in a timely manner. Staff is warm and friendly. Dr Flierl and PA are professional, supportive and shows empathy to my post-op concerns.

Dr. Flierl is caring and friendly, easy to talk to. Office staff is friendly as well.

Everyone in the office was polite. There was no wait time. The doctor listened and explained in detail what I needed to hear. I would recommend Dr Flierl to anyone needing an orthopedic doctor.

I felt very comfortable at Unasourse and my doctor was very nice, professional,thorough and set up a plan for me. Thanks Doc Flierl!

I didn't see Dr. Flierl today, saw his Assistant Diana, she's really nice, and knowledgeable. She discussed moving forward and handled any concerns I had. Great visit as always. I recommend Dr. Flierl he has always taken Excellent care for me. Surgery on both Knees, Hip, Quad Tendon. New location in Shelby Twp is very nice, along with his staff.

Dr. Flierl and his team were professional, courteous and caring. I would highly recommend him.

Love this office. Staff is always very friendly.

Dr Flierl was very informative and compassionate. I feel Im in great hands for my upcoming knee surgery.

I was TWO hours early for my appointment.(Not sure how I did that). The staff just moved me up and Dr. Flierl saw me without skipping a beat. Now that’s customer service!

Dr. Flierl took the time to call and answer my pre-op questions and concerns.... I hear great things about him as a surgeon and looking forward to having a successful outcome.

Dr. Flierl was very attentive to my questions and concerns about my postoperative condition. He prescribed an antibiotic and a new pain reliever but Wallgreens only received the antibiotic ins mix up

Very little personal contact with Dr., 5 minutes after surgery and that’s it!! Very disappointing!! Did not care for the care at Unasource, entirely too rushed to get patients out of facility.

Best bedside manner of any surgeon I’ve ever dealt with. Before and after surgery care was stellar. When I need the other knee done, he will definitely be my choice!

Everyone I came in contact today at the office was very professional

Excellent, first dr who didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about my weight and made me feel confident in the fact I could lose what I needed to in order for him to help me. I left his office feeling confident in him and myself.

Dr. Flierl is wonderful. He sat and listened and spent as much time as I needed to answer questions. The surgery was a great success.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Dr. Flierl was excellent, explained everything very well and specializes in joint replacement and I’m confident he will do a great job with my knee

I was very satisfied with information given to me by Dr. Flierl and his assistant Diana. I was given helpful information since I am finished with my physical therapy. And I do feel that it has helped me physically.

I am very happy with my surgical experiences with Dr. Flierl. He always takes great care to listen and respond with understand and respect. I'm incredibly grateful that I was referred to him many years ago.

It was a very good visit and the Flierl was very caring and understanding and yet very direct with me. I came 2 1/2 hours south just to see him. I have had him before and I just love him because he really takes his time with me and he understands me but yet he is very direct with me and tells me what I need to do because he does care. OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON!!!!

Great experience!!! It was a pleasure meeting Felix his assistant.

I was taken into the examination room right on my appointment time and was seen by the x-ray tech within a few minutes. After the x-rays were taken I saw the PA and discussed the results. There was no damage indicated in the x-rays and it was determined that I probably had bruised the bones and it will continue to improve over time. Dr. Flierl did a great job on my partial knee replacement and continues to support my recovery. His PA is very thorough and professional also. I will not hesitate to have him operate on my other knee when the time comes. I talked to Doctor Flueil and his assistant both..both were very attentive and addressed all of my concerns and questions .

Total knee replacement. Second one-left knee four years ago. Could not be more pleased. Was playing golf 7 weeks after surgery. Three months out complete range of motion, little pain or swelling and almost invisible scar. Highly recommend him.

I had a horrible infection in my knee. It was so bad I almost lost my leg. I spent endless days in the hospital hooked up to antibiotics hoping they worked. When they started to see improvement and it wasn't going to get any better, he was able to do surgery and clean it all out and put staples in. Everything went great! He explained it all, and made sure to let me know not to worry about a thing, because I was in good hands. I felt nothing, and about 3 days after I was able to start walking on it slowly. Fantastic doctor! Dr. Flierl did an outstanding job replacing both my mom’s knees. Prior to the surgeries, she was barely able to walk, but now she is moving and active like we haven’t seen in years. Her recovery is borderline miraculous! We thank Dr. Flierl for the quality of the preparation, the work, and the follow-up after surgery. We could not be happier with the results. Thank you!

Dr. Flierl came to my rescue when the pain in the knee made everyday activities nearly impossible. I was amazed that on the day of my first visit I had my x-ray and MRI done, and diagnosis and recommendation ready on my portal next business day. The office even arranged for my physical therapy a week before my partial knee replacement. I was provided with the X10 machine and coaching and started working on range of motion and muscle strength in the comfort of my home before surgery. I had a visit from TeamRehab therapist who made sure the house was ready for my recovery and I knew how to move about. I was not nervous about the surgery because I could trust the doctor and had people and equipment lined up for the recovery, which was all arranged by dr. Flierl's office. I am gaining strength and building range of motion and managing pain, attending therapy and working on X10. I enjoy daily walks and light gardening 3 week later. Despite Covid I felt safe and well cared for in the office

I'm 6 months out of surgery and still having hip pain and the muscles in my leg have yet to heal and are constantly cramping up. I thought this surgery would have gone better than it did. I had my right hip done over 20 years ago and never had this kind of complications with my right hip. But, since dr. Flierl did my left hip, I've had nothing but problems. Going next week to my primary dr. To see what my next step is to see what can be done. Dr. Flierl never came to my hospital room to see me after my surgery and released me after my first post op meeting with him. He said everything looked good but when I tried to make other appointments with him I was told I owed money and had to pay before I could make an appointment. I just wanted my hip fixed and I feel like I was kicked to the curb and left to fend for myself. I am having a hard time sitting, standing for long periods of time, I am having trouble sleeping because my lower back hurts now. Don't know what he did wrong but clearly something is wrong. Amazing results from total hip replacement surgery. Dr. Flierl is an excellent surgeon. He was detailed in his explanation of the treatment, did not seemed rushed ,taking as much time as needed to help me understand that planned procedure. I followed all the pre-surgery exercises and commendations provided by Beaumont's pre-surgery clinic. My surgery was almost pain free. Never needed any narcotics either in the hospital or after discharge. If and when I need my other hip replaced I would not hesitate to contact Dr. Flierl. Great experience! Office personnel were great. X-rays done in house. Dr Flierl is good at helping you understand and proceed through the entire process. Only have a 4 1/2 inch scare that was glued together so it is almost unnoticeable.

I had two complete knee replacements back to back and the experience was amazing! I was terrified for years to have the surgeries but Dr Flierl and his staff was very skilled, helpful and kind. I would recommend him to everyone requiring a knee replacement!

Dr. Flierl did a hip replacement on my husband and the results have been outstanding. The level of your compassion, and skill set is extraordinary. I had a partial knee replacement 3 years ago and was in for a checkup. All is well with my surgery. Dr. Flierl’s office is a well run office. The staff is pleasant and very efficient. I completed my visit in less than 1 hour. As always Dr. Flierl is professional, warm and caring as is his PA. I would highly recommend his services!
