Michael is wonderful. More human than clinical. More empathetic than sympathetic. But with a lifetime of schooling and experience to let you know that he’s always one step ahead of you. Always trying to find a way to help. Never giving up. Could not possibly recommend him more.

I have been seeing Dr Haines for two years. I had never seen a therapist before and was not sure what to expect. It turns out therapy, like life, can be uncomfortable at times. I never doubted that the Doc earnestly wanted me to improve. Sometimes he would lead me, sometimes he would nudge me but he made it clear that whatever heavy lifting needed to be done could only be done by one person. I appreciate his guidance and his insight while I dug into things that had been problems for a long time

Inappropriate. The questions, his need to have (or appear to have) control, choice of subject matter, and more. Zero interest in learning about me or even why I was there or what help I needed, just wanted control. Felt as though I would be bled for money before I got help with anything. Waste of time.
