He DOESN'T deserve the one star. This man is a TERRIBLE doctor. Never reviewed lab tests, etc. Never communicated results to myself or my husband. Had 'other' things on his mind whenever he saw me. Should never practice medicine again!!!

Doctor Keenan has been my mother's doctor since 1980. Keenan is very caring and passionate about his patience. He always take time to listen and understand what is going on with his patience. I highly recommend Keenan as a primary Doctor.

Dr. Keenan is the best General Physician in the world! His experience from his working lifetime as a doctor is invaluable for his patients! Something that can't be taught to younger physicians. Whenever he retires, which he so very much deserves to do so, I will miss him tremendously!

I have been a patient of Dr Keenan for roughly 7 years. I’m 42 and have had lots of issues and lots of doctors. He is the only doctor I have actually connected with. 5 stars!! Best doctor!

Excellant doctor, advised a small known test called calcium test to check for plaque,found significant blockage in LAD, absolutely had no symptoms, just had stent done by Dr. Raymond Mckay in Hartford who also was excellant, whole procedure was very smooth . Keenan could have saved my life as I was an avid exercisor and could have blown myself up!! Make sure you ask for this test as it is fast and non invasive!! Dr. Keenan took the time to listen to my concerns and problems I am experiencing. He talked to me about my conditions and suggested certain tests to be done to try to get to the bottom of my fatigue. He is one of the best doctors I have. Hopefully he will be around for a long time.

Very friendly professional office. Never have waited long and the doctor is amazing. I was hospitalized and when I came in to see Dr. Keenan he said he had been following my entire hospitalization and rehab. That was so comforting to hear and I just find him to be kind, patient and very knowledgeable.

Dr Keenan has been my primary physician for 35 yrs he is awesome I trust no one more than him. He is compassionate, kind, caring and has been part of my family for a very long time.

He is a pleasant doctor, but not as thorough as others. Unfortunately this is the climate of healthcare these days so he probably is on par with other physicians in his organization who have to rush through physical exams.

Our doctor has moved his office a few miles further than the last one in Coventry. We are still getting used to it, but we do have just as good service as usual, just different feel of the office visit! Dr. Keenan is very nice and thorough in normal way, during my usual three months (diabetic) visits.

Atmosphere very relaxed and yet professional. Doctor was attentive and clearly explained my condition in easy to understand language.

Prompt service, wait time less than 5 minutes. Dr. Michael Keenan is a true professional. Thorough, compassionate and knowledgeable.

Office staff is wonderful and Dr. Keenan is fabulous, as always. Would not go anywhere else! Billing department is a whole different story. Being self pay, I always pay in full at time of check out and get balance billed every single time. When I call, no one in the billing department knows what is going on. Incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I am convinced they do this on purpose to make people so frustrated that they just quit fighting and pay the additional bill to make it go away. Dr Keenan as always was fantastic! If you look up physician in a dictionary his picture should be there. Also the staff is top-shelf and went above and beyond for me. I don't love going to the doctors but when I go there I know I am getting the best care possible

Michael Keenan is a professional caring physician who pays close attention, and once said to me, "If I listen long enough the patient will tell me what is wrong." He's an excellent diagnostician, having picked up enough important health aspects over the 38 years I have been seeing him.

Personable and understanding

As a health professional myself, I find Dr. Keenan takes the time to not only listen but hear what I am saying. He does not rush through a visit paying more attention to the computer but gets to understand me as a person as well as a patient. I have been seeing him for several decades and actually travel quite a way to continue the doctor/patient relationship.

Dr.Keenan listened to me, and offered advice to help me. He's a very good Dr. who uderstands my concern! I've been seeing him for close to 30 yesrs.

Dr. Keenan is a great doctor! He has helped with a number of conditions. He was trained as an internist but also practices family medicine. If you are a male and afraid of doctors, like so many of us are, he is your man! He has been my doctor for almost 19 years. Regarding the one comment about a sprained ankle. Google standard care. Just elevate, take an OTC pain reliver or go to a walk-in clinic.

Dr. Keenan always listens to me and makes me feel included in my treatment options. I never feel rushed with him and am always greeted like I'm important and he really cares about me. Unfortunately there aren't many Dr' s around like Dr.Keenan who care more about their relationship with their patient then getting in as many patients as they can. Thank you Dr. Keenan.

I do not trust him. It took 5 days for him to see me for a sprained ankle. He said he was doing me a favor not having me come in, but I asked to be seen. He made me feel horrible, calling me a paranoid child. I’m 26. What I am, is a concerned patient, that feels ignored and alone after reaching out to Dr. While expressing my concern he said “I wished I could video tape this” and laughed. That’s not how a doctor should act, no matter how he feels about a patient. I’m appalled, and telling all.

We have discussed my lab results and what I should do to maintain and improve my health. Dr. Keenan's knowledge of relative risks allows me to prioritize improvements I am making in my lifestyle.

Fast and efficient No wasted time

Dr Keenan has been my Dr for many years and he has always treated me like family and not just some patient he has to see, he really cares for people and their well being.. He's help me through tough times. Thanks Dr Keenan!!

Dr Keenan is the best PCP I could ask for. He listens and is very personable. His staff is also happy and helpful. Highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Keenan has been our PCP for over 28 years. He is a caring doctor that listens to our concerns, makes sure we are feeling confident on his diagnosis and ensures our well being. I am pleased to have Dr. Keenan taking care of all our family. We all trust him and his staff is all wonderful, even thought, thru out the years, some have moved on and new ones come on board. Best doctor

Dr. Keenan is a good and fair physician, but no longer will involve himself with chronic pain patients, for whatever reason.

Dr. Keenan is second to none. He is, simply, the single best medical doctor I have ever had or known. Firstly, he is a gifted diagnostician, who, in spite of 30+ years of experience, possesses the humility to know when to defer to a specialist. Secondly, his knowledge of medicine - both pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics - is encyclopedic. He's a walking PDR. Finally, Dr. Keenan possesses a genuine empathy & humility not seen in many doctors w/ half his experience and knowledge.
