Michael F. Larson

I was seeing Dr Larson for substance abuse. He ended up prescribing a addict benzos, diagnosing me with five other mental problems and pushing meds for all of them. For insurance reasons I couldn't see him anymore but learned he left the practice I was seeing him at and I tracked him down to a shady office in Boston. Only now he wanted me to come off my meds because I wasnt a adolescent anymore so he just stopped taking or returning my calls. I'm glad he did because he gave me the creeps every time I had to see him and he had multiple problems remembering I had a appointment with him waiting hours past my time to see him then instead of seeing me has me reschedule, forgot about refills or maybe that was his sense of humor? This poor man needs a good quack to give him something so he can smile once in a while and have some kind of personality. He was boring as hell to talk to and he gave me the creeps almost every visit.

Dr. Larson was treating me and then disappeared (literally) without contacting his patients to say that he had left the building where he was practicing. He never contacted me at all and nobody knew where he went.

When I met with Mike Larson in 2016, he diagnosed me with ADHD in about 30 minutes of a session. He put me on Adderall, and then it became impossible to contact him for follow-up sessions and receive prescriptions from him. Each time, when I did see him, he looked more and more disheveled. Suddenly, there was no response from him. I finally went to my PCP, and he started to give me the prescriptions. Now I don't even know if I have ADHD and need to get a second opinion. Say no.

Mental health is a serious issue, and I seriously wonder how a medical professional can be allowed to practice whilst showing such a lack of regard for his patients' wellbeing ... Truly terrifying that somebody like Dr Larson is allowed to actively treat people with depression
