Dr Lewitton provides outstanding care for the past 7 years. He is a Great surgeon and his bedside manner is exceptional

Dr. Lewitton is the best urologist! He’s very knowledgeable and personable! He took his time with me to go over what to expect from my surgery and he performed my surgery without any complications! I was discharged from the hospital the very next day and I did not even need to take any of the pain pills he prescribed after I left the hospital. He has a great bedside manner that helps patients feel at ease. I’ve seen several urologists over the years and Dr. Lewitton is by far the best! He will be my urologist until he retires!

I can't say enough about Dr. Lewitton. He's responsive, he listens, he's cool, he explains everything in English, and he talks to you like a person rather than a patient. And, it goes without saying, he's at the very top of the professional/medical knowledge pyramid. If you want a doctor you can trust without so much as a second thought, someone in whose every word you can place total confidence, this is your guy.

Dr. Lewitton took the time, effort and concern with me. Prostate cancer even in its early stages can still be scary for patient that doesn’t have any education in this area. Dr. Lewitton explained everything to me in a way that I understood. He took extra time to be certain I understood my options. Where another doctor had seen a concern with my recent MRI with what they thought could be a problem, he did not. When the pathology report came back, Dr. Lewitton was absolutely correct. My tumor was benign. For anybody that’s reading this that has high PSA numbers and wants the best medical care possible, Michael Lewitton, exceeded my expectations. I traveled over 1200 miles to be in his care.

Dr Michael Lewitton has been my husband Urologist since about 15 years. He has a very caring, pleasant attitude towards his patient's. My husband always had good praise for him and was very happy to have him as his Urologist. My husband last appointment with Dr Lewitton was July 8, 2020, we had to say goodbye to him because we lived in Sugar Land and to commute to Methodist Medical Center was getting hard on us since we were getting old and had to find an Urologist in Sugar Land. Dr. Lewitton is just a great all around urologist to me for 20 years and to friends I have sent to him. Totally professional and perfectionist in getting to the root of problems. I trust him 100 percent for any medical issues. Best I have ever heard of at ridding kidney stones. Office is emaculate and staff is very nice and competent. Appreciate him greatly.

If you're looking for a urologist, I highly recommend Dr. Lewitton. He's highly-trained with an impressive pedigree, which is what first brought me to his office. I first found out that my PSA was high during a routine physical 7 years ago. The first urologist I saw wasn't very satisfactory. I then switched to another very experienced urologist, who I saw for about 4 years. During this time, I became very disatisfied and felt that many of his practices were unprofessional. For example, he often didn't post my test results onto the patient portal. He also never ordered many routine tests for my ailments, such as MRI, CT, or ultrasound. The surgery he performed on me wasn't successful and resulted in a long and painful recovery. Due to these complaints, I switched to Dr. Lewitton and he was able to resolve my issue in about 9 months' time with a second surgery. Comparing the two surgeries, Dr. Lewitton's surgery was very successful. For example, I left the hospital after the surgery without a catheter, whereas I had to wear a catheter for a week after my first surgery. Also, I didn't bleed much after my second surgery with Dr. Lewitton, whereas I bled for twice the amount of time after my first surgery. A sidenote here - when Dr. Lewitton came to see me while I was recovering in the hospital, he found that the gauze he tied around my urinary tube during surgery had fallen off, so he retied it very tightly so to stem the blood in my urine. This simple trick was so effective that it stemmed the blood in my urine almost immediately, to the surprise of the nurses. Additionally, I also didn't experience much pain for a very long time after the second surgery, whereas I experienced extensive pain especially during urination after my first surgery. And most notely, unlike after my first surgery, my PSA went back to normal after the second surgery. If you're looking for a urologist, I highly recommend Dr. Lewitton. It's been 5 years or so since I visited Dr. Lewitton for my chronic UTIs. He suggested that I take D-Mannose sugar and probiotic supplement to control the disease. I never properly complied with his suggestions (wasn't convinced that supplements could work better than medication). My condition didn't improve until now (even after seeing other urologists for years) because I have finally started taking the two supplements regularly. Gotta say Dr. Lewitton is very smart and has the patient's best interests at heart. He is the only urologist I met who looked for solutions (not drugs) to solve the problem. So thankful! I have been a patient of Dr. Lewitton for 9+ years and have yet to have a disappointing experience. Even on those days when he has had to share less than ideal news about my health (two unrelated cancers) he was quick to move into the care phase of my journey with assurance of a positive outcome. More importantly; the outcome has been positive. I am grateful to be in the care of Dr. Lewitton and staff.
