Michael G Martin

Dr. Martin has a wonderful bedside manner and always listened to my concerns and answered my questions. He took his time explaining things to me and was never in a rush. He is always very kind and compassionate and never without a smile. I had a total knee replacement and would certainly go back to him again if needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Martin to anyone facing knee surgery.

I would refer anyone and everyone too see Dr. Martin. He is intelligent, wonderful bedside manners, and listens to his patients. He does not rush you in and out.

Perhaps if he had not been built up to be so great my review would be better...Perhaps he is a good surgeon...but he completely destroyed all possibility of rapport, trust, and my business when I was crying in the exam room and he told me, "I needed to get it together so I could hear what my options from him were..." His bio brags about being very active in his church and being an Autism advocate...I hope that he does not treat people with Autism or people at his church in such a way. I felt rushed by the entire office staff, especially him. I felt NOT listened to and disregarded by him and his staff. I am not a diva by any means, but I do have basic standards. Dr. Martin helped me recover from my high ankle sprain injury from playing basketball. At 40 years old it was a tough recovery. I thought I would never be able to play basketball, but because of his care I was able to get back on the court. His bedside manner is awesome! I highly recommend him for any leg injuries because of my experience, but he also specializes in therapy and/or surgery for shoulder injuries and pain as well. Had a good experience with doctor martin and staff had to have shoulder surgery now waiting on the healing process then get back to work

Worst doctor I ever visited. Spent 7 min. with me. Waited 2 1/2 hrs. to see him. Went in with regular knee problems and able to drive-came out with severe bleeding, swollen leg for over a week, no driving and using a walker, plus consulting MDLive I learned of from a friend yesterday. Thank God for them.

Dr. Martin has been one of my docs for almost 10 yrs. He is one of the best. He tries to explain everything he does and he make sure I am happy with the treatment. I love his personality. I am often in pain when I go to him and his sense of humor definitely helps to ease the pain when he pulls out those long needles. Thanks Doc. I am sure I will see you sooner than not. Dr. Martin and the entire office at OrthoSports are wonderful. Dr. Martin took time to hear my complaints and didn't make me feel rushed. He has wonderful beside manners, and didn't immediately want to operate on my knee like other orthopedics I had visited. He treated me with conservative measures in hopes of pushing out a total knee replacement. I have had multiple shots in my knees by other doctors, however, when Dr. Martin gave me my shot, I didn't even feel anything. Please beware of this Worker's Comp Doctor. He is a horrible Orthopedic. He lies, and doesn't care about the patient at all. At first he pretends to be nice... But it is all an act. He said he would repair my meniscus...instead he removed majority of it without my knowledge. He is very dishonest and could care less about your well being.. The man didn't even show me photos of the X-rays. He refused to speak with me after he preformed surgery, and tries to send me back to work in less than a week with no Physical Therapy. It was all most a month before I had any Physical Therapy given to me. I have had so many problems behind this. I believe he hit a nerve while inside my knee, I start having problems with my heel and foot. Of course he sent me to his Doctor friend. Scott Morris which is in house at St. Vincents East Ortho Clinic. He was about as bad as Doctor Martin. These doctors are not for the patients but only do what Workers Comp wants. Please beware. Dr Martin is very kind and has an excellent mannerism. He takes time, explains, and answers all of your questions with patience. He is very thorough. So glad I chose to see him for my knee injury. Very pleasant experience, Highly Recommend this Practice.

Dr Martin and his staff are the most caring professionals. He has a great bedside manner to be a surgeon. I have used 2 others and I highly recommend him to everyone.

Was very glad to find him. I had already been diagnosed with a frozen shoulder by a different doctor who gave me very little time and left me with a need for more information. Did all the PT and had very good range of motion again but still after 8 months had pain. Dr. Martin and his nurse took time to listen to my concerns and questions. Both of them answered my questions in a way I could understand and even gave me additional information. His treatment for the problem has been more effective.

Dr. Martin is the best doctor. He does not make you feel inferior. He right away reveals his great bed side manners as a person. Secondary, he imparts confidence and ,you can trust me. He has and is blessed by Jehovah. He loves what he do. He takes good care of his patient. I have great respect for him. I tell everyone about him. I recommend his service. Keep up the good work Doc. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Martin and all of his staff. They provide excellent care. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Martin has performed surgery on both my father's hips. My father and my family have been very happy in all aspects of our dealings with Dr. Martin.

Very effcient office. Dr. Martin very kind and informative. My first visit, today, was a pleasant experience.

On 1/24/17 Dr.Martin did a total right hip replacement on me. Both his skill level and compassion have been by far more than I could have ever hopped for . Dr.Martin and his staff from start to finish have been just amazing . I would recommend them to anyone that is missing out on quality of life due to bad hips or knees . January 13, 2015 Dr. Martin will schedule six or seven patients at 1 PM. Seems Dr. Martin is a self-centered man who has no respect for his patients. I certainly will never use Dr. Martin again! Waiting time below is over 45 minutes. Should over 90 minutes!

He was Ok. I did not get a good feeling from him. I have two bad knees. He give me two corticosteroids shot and prescribe a rub for knee pain. I wrote a complete medical history of my knees problem with all the medications I was taking. He was not impressed with my writeup of my history. The reason I gave him a 3 stars because I was not impressed with him. He would have to be a miracle healer to give him a 5. i would have to like him to give him a 4. Please write a review of all your doctor you go to so we can get a good idea on where to find a good doctor. He was Ok. I did not get a good feeling from him. I have two bad knees.
