Michael Meltzer

My Mom has been a patient at this office for several years. It is difficult to get an appointment bc he is the only physician and he doesn't work on Fridays. He is treating my 93 yr old Mother for an upper respiratory infection x 2 wks. I called to make a follow-up appointment today, to be seen tomorrow or Friday ( doctor not in). I spoke with the office manager who insisted that I should take my Mom to UC or ER. I understand that the physician is CYA. However, the manager was rude and argumentative. While reporting my Mom's symptoms I said she was confused Tuesday night, but not Wednesday. The office manager insisted that I was saying that my Mom is currently confused and that she would document that I am refusing to take my Mom to the ER. I tried to again clarify that my Mom is not confused, we may end up taking her to the ER if she is worse today but I would prefer that her own doctor examine her and prob order chest xray. An 6-10 hour ER visit may not be warranted . I explained that I am an ICU nurse. She continued to speak over my voice and argue. Very disappointed. Doctors "turfing" patients unnecessarily to UC and ER is causing severe backups and delays in those facilities. ( FYI my mom is not having any difficulty breathing and no fever ). Healthcare is in a terrible state and there is little accountability. ??

Dr Mike and all the staff are extremely helpful especially Michelle. Getting appointments are easy and wait time are not long. Dr Mike and Dr Courntey help me in caring and understanding way very different than other Dr offices. I will recommend them to everyone I know and feel I am getting the best care.

Dr. Meltzer recommended daily adderal use when I have a family history of heart disease. He also makes inappropriate jokes non-stop and refused to see an old patient (another family member) during the pandemic. Unprofessional and deleterious in my opinion.

I have been a patient of Dr.Meltzer for a few years and he is the absolute best. His staff is great an extremely friendly an helpful. If you are looking for an amazing doctor who actually cares about your health an well being he is your guy!

I have been a patient of Dr. Meltzer (Hainesport Family Practice) for over 10yrs. Besides being a wonderful and excellent doctor, his beside manner is extraordinary. His recommendations for specialist and care is the best. Dr. Meltzer and his staff are always on point with their customer service and treat the patients first. Hainesport Family medicine is the best

My visits with Dr. Meltzer are great. He cares about my concerns, makes me feel comfortable, and is knowledgeable. Any referrals he made out for me were impressive. His office staff are very nice, welcoming and treat their patients with respect. Definately recommend his services.

I have been seeing Dr. Meltzer for about 10 years now, and he is wonderful. Excellent at listening to any and all concerns, answers all questions, and he has referred me to many great specialists. I moved 30 minutes away from his office 5 years ago, and I still see him because I would never want to switch to a new primary doctor! Worth the longer drive.

Love the doctor, office staff not so much. I have been a patient of Dr. Meltzer's for many years. I had to have a follow up mammogram and when I scheduled it they asked if the Dr. could also ask for an ultrasound. With more than a week before my mammogram, I called the office and asked if they could add that on before my appointment. Get here today and nothing. Girl in office said dr was not in. I said can't you pass on the message? Guess it never happened. He will be hearing from me.

Dr Meltzer has been my primary doctor for the past 10 years and he is the best! His office is always accommodating. And he is an excellent doctor I've never once had a problem with him.

Dr. Meltzer may joke around a lot.. BUT when you have a serious concern he is right on top of things... I happen to have a Pheochromocytoma which is 2 in 1 million diagnosed per year. very rare tumor on my adrenal gland. Thank you to Dr Meltzer he sent me in the right direction a wonderful Endochronologist and after tons of tests I had my adrenal gland removed. Basically Dr Meltzer helped save my life. I recommend him to anyone. He follows in his fathers footsteps (A WONDERFUL PHYSICIAN) 5 STARS
