Dr. Michael T Mineo

Dr. Michael Mineo was incredible on how well he put my husband at ease! He was so happy that he found Dr. Mineo and so am I! Dulcer was also incredible in helping us out as a New Patient at their practice!

Dr. Mineo and his staff provided excellent, thorough and efficient care. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr Menio is awesome now in the other hand his staff are HORRIBLE and TERRIBLE. Doesn’t deserve any star at all. They don’t know how to communicate to their patients at all, this is the second time that they just canceled my appointment with out prior notice, I was supposed to have a MRI scheduled tomorrow at a local hospital but I have no idea what is in their mind if they have any, they called that hospital and canceled my MRI appointment, I called Dr Menio’s office asking why they canceled my appointment and who give them permission to canceled my appointment since I’m the one who scheduled the appointment , it’s hard on my part to be off or even to request a day off in my job. I honestly don’t know what I would do without Dr. Mineo’s help. He obviously cares about helping me handle my persistent and inconvenient incontenance and battle with UTI’s.. Thank you Dr M!!!

While my experience with Dr. Mineo has been quite positive, the customer service received while interacting with some administrative team members has been questionable. I called to reschedule an appointment for my father and felt like I was bothering the scheduler (sighs and heavy breathing over the phone) when my requested date was not available. At one point, I mentioned that I am also trying to coordinate appointments and need a minute to see what will work on our calendars! There is an opportunity for a better patience experience in that space. Referred by neurologist due to finding on MRI. First time patient and an appointment was made right away. Dr Mineo took time to explain findings, plans and answer all my concerns. I highly recommend him

I was very impressed with Dr. Mineo and his staff. His staff was very courteous, efficient and friendly. He was very kind, professional and took the time to explain all my options. He listened to my concerns and gave me informative literature to help me understand what to expect. My treatments went well without any hiccups. I would highly recommend him.

Worst experience with this clinic. I came to Houston Metro Urology with a urinary issue that I had been having for 6 months. I had to wait for an hour before being seen. I was put on an antibiotic that didn't clear up the issue. I came for a second visit and had to wait 2 hours to be seen. I was tested for a higher level urine test that was zero percent covered by my insurance. I was also sent home with expired medication (over a year expiration). I called to complain and all they did was mail me some new samples. This still didn't resolve the issue. I emailed to find out next steps. The nurses, which are so cold...said the doctor wanted me to have a cystoscopy and CT. She said it was scheduled for 03/14/19 and that I would be called with pricing. On 03/11/19, I had to email again because I hadn't heard anything. The procedure was never scheduled. The nurse then said it was for 03/21/19 and didn't apologize for dropping the ball. There is no way I would come back and give more money into the pockets of this trashy medical clinic. Still in discomfort and taking my care elsewhere. Worst experience with this clinic. Highly recommend Dr. Mineo. He is Super attentive and takes the time to speak to you during the visits. He really is a great physician.

Absolute professional, was very thorough in explaining answers to my questions, I had to travel 20 miles but I would definitely do it again. I needed a second opinion and he definitely gave me ease of mind and made me comfortable. Thank you again Dr. Mineos.

Dr. Mineo takes time with each patient to answer all my questions. So it feels like the 60 mile trip is worthwhile. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mineo if You need a urologist..

I have found Dr Mineo to be personable and competent. He spends enough time with you to answer your questions and try to ensure you understand your malady and any treatment contemplated. In short, he's my kind of doctor. I would recommend him to a friend without hesitation.

I have been seeing Dr. Mineo for several years. He is extremely professional and attentive. He makes you feel like you are the most important patient he has, and never seems rushed or hurried. He genuinely cares about his patients. I am most grateful for the time he takes to not only answer my questions, but how he also takes the time to explain what he is doing, and if prescriptions are needed, why they are needed. I would highly recommend him. He's one of the best Doctors I have ever had.

I really like Dr. Mineo. He is a good listener and appears to be knowledgeable. Wait-times, however, are interminable. While I understand that sometimes doctors fall behind --a patient with a grave diagnosis ahead of me may need more attention on a particular day-- they are ALWAYS late at Houston Metro Urology, and not just 15-20 minutes late. Making appointments by telephone is also tough and messages are often not delivered to Dr. Mineo's nurse, requiring me to call back 2 or 3 times.

Dr. Mineo is a very caring doctor that listens to your concerns & provides you with solutions to your medical problems. I was recommended to Dr. Mineo when I had kidney stones by the urologist that was treating my late husband for kidney cancer. Dr. Mineo was my doctor for the next 3 years until I moved away from Texas. I would highly recommend him.

I finished treatment for prostate cancer in January and I could not have been treated any better by Dr. Mineo and his team. I would give him 5 stars out of 5.
