Dr. Safran is the sole practitioner at Sawkill Family Medicine where I have been a patient for over 30 years. That is a long time. He well knows my medical history and probably a lot more than I realize about me as a person as it is all wrapped up in my health. In times of need for acute and/or specialized care he has guided me through the options and the maze of specialists typically part of large impersonal corporate money mill medical facilities. His kind of immediate individual care is both invaluable and is generally a remnant of the bygone so called "Golden Era of Medicine" but in this case it still does flourish. And for that I am thankful.

Dr. Safran is one of the most caring doctors I've ever had the please to meet. He always takes as much time with me as I need - the staff is awesome - I can always get in if I'm having a problem

Exceptional care, spends a lot of time with you. The staff is great too!

This doctor is incompetent! Charged me 436 dollars for a three minute visit and in the end referring me to another doctor.
