Dr welker replaced my left shoulder and I have had no problems since. He a very compassionate physician and kept my husband in the loop all the way. I would and have recommended him many times and know of many patients of his that would do the same

Dr .Welker is a kind and caring doctor. He does not push for surgery, but takes the time to hear what the patient is experiencing. He states he does hips and knees, and a few wings. He did my right rotator cuff tear (wing) and I had no pain 2 days after surgery. He is going to repair my left rotator cuff soon. All of the staff are very caring. I would not go to any other orthopedist.

He was terrific, very personable and informative. My surgery went very smoothly and I was able to go home the same day. I would recommend Dr. Walker very highly.

Best doctor ever and very kind and listens to your problems great personality and doesn’t rush you into surgery. He’s the best????

Excellent surgeon who fully prepared me for what I was getting into with my total knee replacement . Dr Welker has a wonderful bedside manner and prepared me before , during and after for what I needed to do for recovery . I am 3 months post surgery and I’m moving better than I have in years . I highly recommend Dr Welker to my friends and family. I had total knee replacement a year ago. It has gone extremely well, in spite of COVID-19 and made my life so much more pleasant. I can do much more activities than before. I would choose him again and again. Thank you Dr Welker.

First visit with him today; very impressed.He made great eye contact,explained everything thoroughly,had his assistant take notes on the computer so he could speak face to face with me.No white coat,smiled throughout visit and made me very comfortable.Injected my knee with no discomfort whatsoever.Staff very efficient and friendly as well.

Why is 6 stars not an option? Dr. Welker did so much for me after my car accident. I will not allow any doctor to touch my leg without consulting Dr. Welker. A+ person, highly recommend.

Dr Welker performed a total knee replacement on me 12/3/2018. He spent plenty of time before during and post surgery answering questions. Never felt rushed when we were together. I am planning to schedule my other knee next year.

Dr. Welker is the kindest, most caring doctor I have ever encountered. The staff is very nice and caring. My rotator cuff surgery went extremely well and I had almost no pain. I was off heavy meds in 4 days, and needed no pain meds after that. Dr Welker does mostly knees and hips, but did a great job on my "wing." Takes the time to really listen. Knee injections were painless. The receptionist can be a little too business like, but don't let that scare you.

Excellent surgeon, prescribed most efficient least uncomfortable post knee replacement rehab. This was 9 yrs ago. Amazing recovery time! Even surprised my therapists.

I had a rare disease in my knees called Osteochondritis Dissecans. I had it for about 6 years that caused me pain, dislocation of the knee, and took me out of ice skating. Dr. Welker has recently done two surgical procedures to fix my knees. I had my right one done first in December and I can’t remember the last time my knee felt put together with very little pain. Dr. Welker has been the greatest doctor I’ve ever had, always cheering someone up, especially me. He’s fixed me up and has given me the chance to live a teen life and enjoy being a teen. I never thought I would be able to go to homecoming but next year I can! Thank you Dr. Welker for giving this 14 year old girl more opportunities to spend with friends and family. Thank you for giving me the chance to Ice Skate again. Thank you for always giving me a smile and being honest with me. You’ve given my family a lot of laughs too! My mother, 89 years young, recently broke her arm and visited several doctors for opinions regarding next step care and treatment. Her last stop was Dr. Welker. She didn't have to look any further. She has been beyond satisfied with Dr. Welkers professionalism, as well as his genuine care and concern for her treatment and recovery. She, as well as our entire family, highly recommend Dr. Welker. I have broken both ankles (3 years apart) and Dr. Welker took care of both surgeries. He was very professional and didn't ever seem too busy to answer all questions. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a kind, compassionate and caring physician.

Dr. Welker did both of my hip replacements and I can't say enough positive things about him. He is compassionate, caring, and extremely skilled. I was walking 5 miles a day within a month after both surgeries, and have not had any problem since. One was in 2009, and the other in 2013. Five years after Dr. Welker preformed sucessful lert shoulder surgery I needed right shoulder surgery. Now 100 days later I'm well under way to a complete recovery. The before and after care I received rom Dr. Welker was excellent.. Anyone needing Orthopedic Surgery would do well in considering Dr. Welker.

Prior to my surgical procedure, Dr. Welker was great. Afterwards, just terrible. Spends very little time with aftercare service. It almost seemed like since the surgery was not a success, his ego was hurt. When I suggested further evaluation to determine my orignal problem (which was not resolved), he refused. His answer was "I don't think that is what is wrong." I have not returned to office. I wish I would have researched him more prior to my surgery.

Dr. Welker is the best. He always takes time to talk to you about your family and how you are doing. My wife is getting ready for her second knee replacement, and we went back to him because her first one went great, and she had very little pain. We would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Welker came to me very highly recommended by several friends and additional medical professionals. With out a doubt one of the best doctors I have ever had any dealings with. Thorough diagnosis and explanations. Very complete discussions about the advised solution to the problem. Very personable and understanding. Would highly recommend to anyone considering joint replacement.

It was awful. Dr. Welker performed 2 surgeries on me which neither one was successful. I had a total knee replacement which did not go well. I tried to follow up with him he wouldn't take my calls. I went to a different Orthopedic Surgeon who told me the replacement was the wrong size, the ligaments around the knee cap where not stable around the knee causing it to bow inward. Which resulted in me having to have another knee replacement by a different Doctor. Dr. Welker was the worst ever.

Very informative in interaction with me Eliminated other options for improving the function of my knee, before resorting to TKR. The whole process of hospitalization, surgery & recovery, post surgery knee exercise and recommendation for OP rehab being SO successful convinced me Mike has true understanding of his craft. He knows what works. Other folks who've had same knee problem & surgery with other Docs not fared so well. I think the secret is the CPM ACTIVITY & OP rehab. DOS: April 2008.
