Dr. Wood was very nice and thorough at explaining our problem. Wait time to be seen was not long at all. Staff is very friendly.

Very professional and trustworthy. Friendly and caring staff. Would highly recommend.

This Dr made my foot worse all his equipment is from the 40’s and all he worries about is getting paid!! The place across the street where he did my surgery was dirty ! My arm was bruised from the IV I wouldn’t take my dog to see this Dr.!!

I’ve been going to Dr. wood with different members of my family for over 15 years. Dr. Wood is honest, explains the issues if there are any ,thoroughly. He seeks the simplest fixes before using last resorts. Fantastic demeanor with young kids, and very professional .

My experience with Dr. Wood and his office has been excellent. He is very kind, attentive, and thorough. While surgery is what I ended up needing, I appreciated the fact that other treatments, such as physical therapy, were tried first. His office staff at both the East Side and Lansing offices are lovely. Making an appointment is an easy process and you don't wait forever to see him. I highly recommend him. Very informative, helpful staff and doctors.

Dr. Woods and his staff are amazing they listen to you and explain the process completely to you. Made it easier to understand. I would highly recommend dr. Woods and his staff very professional

Went in for a simple checkup knowing I had neuropathy already. He wanted to CUT? my toe off and put wires in my foot for....?????? RUN don't look back just keep running. That was over 5 years ago...guess what I still have my toes and feet wires NOT included.

This foot dr.is the god of all foot dr's. In 2008 from another foot doctor's botched surguryhe not only saved my foot from ganggreen but when other doctors wanted to cut my foot off he not only saved it but 60 some ops later, I still had my foot and I could not be happier. sometimes dr's can be stern, or to the point of being rude but I have always had an excellent report for this doctor.he doesn't just fix the problem , he fixes the reason for the problem, something that is not done much these days. Very happy with the pre-surgery, surgery, and post surgery. Dr. Wood explained what would happen during the surgery and it went well. Very good doctor and staff.

The services that I received were very good and treated very well from the doctors, nurse and all the staff. They were very nice and always willing to assist in any questions I had before having my surgery which made it very helpful. Thank you for your services which was greatly appreciated.

I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Woods for over 20 years. He is one of the most upstanding doctors I have been to. His staff is always polite and helpful. I would highly recommend his office to anyone.

Michael Wood is a fine Dr. and has a Wonderful Staff. Kind, Efficient, Knowledgeable, Clean and Patient. Not long sentences but straightforward words. If you are looking for an office to help you with your foot problems and calm your fears - This is the one.

Would recommend Dr Wood to everyone! Very good and always available for questions and concerns seriously what Dr gives you his cell phone number! Love the Staff at the Surgical center very informative regarding the procedure before and after. Vicky at the Surgical center is a Rockstar!

Dr Wood was awesome! He throughly explained my procedure and had answers for my questions. The surgery went well as did my recovery. The ladies in his office are so nice!

Dr. Wood is very professional, kind and caring. He has performed two surgeries on me and both were a very pleasant experience. Any questions I had during my after care, Dr. Wood was just a phone call away.

Pleae stay away from this office. They're unethical and unprofessional. The doctor was so rude and money hungry.

I'm writing this to make sure that others like my father Al Griglin are not taken advantage of as well. Dr. Michael Wood from the “Foot Health Institute” out of Lansing, IL performed a foot procedure on him a couple of months ago. As the bills started to roll in, it is very clear that his billing procedures were very unethical. He was billing Medicare for office visits under “additional billing codes” not related to the office visit, just so he could get paid the additional money from Medicare. When confronted about the billing, his story would often change because he knew that he was in the wrong. It is terrible to think that we can’t trust the professionals out there to do the right thing. We are in the process of filing the proper paperwork to inform the Better Business Bureau as well as Medicare but figured by getting the word out it may help out another individual before they become a victim. RUN!! DO NOT go to Dr. Michael Wood. My father is a senior citizen who visited Dr. Wood with Medicare. My father lives alone and on March 17th he told the doctor he would come back the following day to confirm the date of surgery to make sure he could find a ride. My father went in just to confirm with the front desk and not only did the doctor try to charge him for an office visit but he has made up additional visits just to continue charging the insurance company. He dances around the truth and uses Joann to do the lying for him. Our health care system has enough issues, it really is so sad that someone who is suppose to be bettering the quality of life for others, chooses to take advantage of them instead. This really shows the morals and integrity behind Dr. Woods practice. There is currently a formal appeal regarding this fraud being drafted with Medicare. RUN!! DO NOT go to Dr. Michael Wood. Dr. Wood is an amazing Doctor. He has been very compassionate and caring. He is very knowledgeable about feet!

Dr.Wood & his team are great! I had an infected toenail due to a chronic ingrown toenail situation on both big toes. Also discovered both big toes had bone spurs as well. After resolving the infection, I had an outpatient surgery removing portions of my toenails, some of my tissue as well as going under the toenails to remove/file down the bone spurs. Dr. Wood explained every step in simple, basic terms that I could understand as well as drew images to help explain what was & would be happening. His funny, high-energy "bedside" manner is also very reassuring that I was more than just another patient but a person in pain & needed reassurance. He also doesn't make you feel dumb or stupid when asking questions. The staff were great in helping with & being patient with the insurance issues I had. Very friendly & professional at every visit and on every phone call. Highly recommend Dr. Wood & his team if you are experiencing any foot issues. Dr.Wood & his team are great! Dr. Wood has worked with both my husband and myself, as well as my four children. My oldest daughter was in a wheelchair and had several surgeries performed by Dr Wood. He was the most compassionate, caring doctor we have ever encountered. My daughter was having problems with all the connective tissue's throughout her body. Dr. Wood was the Doctor Who finally diagnosed her as having Ehlers-Danlos. We had been to 11 doctors previously who couldn't figure it out. He never stopped working until he found a cause for all of her dislocations. He studied up on this rare disease and found us other specialists to follow up with. He is very conservative, only performing surgery when it is completely necessary and saved her from fusing her feet while he looked for better solutions. She had been told by the Ehlers-Danlos specialist that they needed to be fused. I am happy to say that after seven years in a wheelchair, my daughter is walking. I went to this Dr with a small scrape on my toe only to have him advise me i needed allthis surgery i believed him now my. Foot is disfigure D i recently ca)ed left a message no response i checked into possibly sueing him but I've waited to late i believe he did the surgery. Because i had very good insutencr i wish i could post a picture of my foot im a women andthe is aeful i have to diffrent feeti dont recommend him to anyone! !!!! Dr. Woods entire staff is amazing. I've never had a doctor who listened and understood exactly what was going on. He makes sure he answers all your questions he also does drawings to simplify things for you. He has been wonderful and his staff is always awesome. They're very prompted with paper work responding to messages, they check on you after your procedure just an amazing experience. I can go on and on about them. The absolute worst, If i could give 0 stars I would. My mother made an appointment to see the specialist & was given Wednesday December 30th. They told us to be there early, to be on time. We got up early, left early & arrived early prior to them opening at 9am. There was a sign there saying we will return at 8:30. Well that time along with 9am came and went, nobody opening up nor showing. We decided to call them up & the answering person told us that the offices do not open on Wednesday's & we couldn't believe it at all, my mother made sure to ask the specific day/time & was given that when they gave her that time. My mother has issues with her legs & has a hard time walking & this all feels like a cruel joke. They also state that a $25 is charged due to no shows, I wish that worked the other way around to not only them not showing up but their utter incompetence for running their practice. Dr. Wood is wonderful. After trying all else we were sent to Dr. Wood in 2010. Right away Dr. Wood was comforting, knowledgeable and patient with us. He explained everything thoroughly and always made sure we asked questions. We never ever felt rushed even though he had a waiting room full of patients. I'd complained to pediatricians who ignored the issue as growing pains since my son was 7. When he was 13 I became aggressive about the issue and at 18 his podiatrist sent him to Dr. Wood. Not surprisingly Dr. Wood found arthritis in 3 areas of my son's foot. Dr. Wood explained that because my son was so young he thought surgery should be an absolute "last resort". Can you believe a surgeon saying that! This is his bread and butter! So we were sent to an athletic specialist, a prosthetic was made, which he used for 2 years, it didn't work. We begin planning for surgery. We were comforted by Dr. Wood's following words..."I love what I do." Surgery was 2 weeks ago and although my son is in for a 3 month lay-up Dr. Wood and his team at Surgicore were Awesome! Everyone treated my son very well me as if I were the patient too. I needed that because I was so worried and stressed about the whole thing. Jordan and I thank you Dr. Wood and your team for everything!!!! Dr. Wood is wonderful.
