Couldn’t be more impressed. Dr Zevitz spent a great deal of time explaining options for care with the advantages and disadvantages to each. He patiently and respectfully endured my many questions. He’s exactly the kind of doctor I appreciate the most.

Dr. Zevitz is also the ME for Menominee county. This Dr sits in his office in Norway and completes the death certificates with NO investigation. ONLY what the pathologist report states. Unfortunately, our family had a very sad situation and what should have been labeled as an overdose, the "Dr" decided it was a suicide. For weeks we tried to contact him with NO reply. I finally got a call through, and was told he would take another look at EVERYTHING and get back to us. Another 2 weeks went by, so I emailed him again, twice. To this day the family has heard NOTHING from him. What this person has done is made a horrible situation worse, and all because he didnt do any checking into this persons life at all. He made the decision of suicide because " of the level of substance in his system". Ok, isnt that an overdose? If it was a suicide, there would be other signs in the persons life. The Dr didnt ask or look into this at all. In my conversation with Dr Zevitz, there was no compassion, no warmth, just annoyance. I feel so bad for anyone that has to see this man as a patient. It also makes me wonder how many other families he has done this to. Maybe he has a bias against people who struggle with addiction. It sure doesnt go along the lines of the oath he took to help others. I pray no one ever has to deal with this "Dr" again. Dr. Zevitz is also the ME for Menominee county. He was able to fit my Mom in a short notice and took the time, as always with her, to inform her of her condition and clearly inform her of treatment and the importance it has in aiding a better outcome.
