im new to town and this was the dentist I chose after moving here. If you want a good dentist this is the place to go! I needed fillings on my front teeth and MAN did he do a good job. Im now happy with my smile again and not afraid to show it. Staff are really nice and overall I had an excellent experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very well trained and knowledgeable, capable of answering any question asked of them. Dr Tatum is one of the kindest people i have ever met, he has always managed to work me in, no matter how busy he is, because he hates to see people hurt. My husband and I have been blessed to have lived overseas, moved to numerous locations within the US, and finally retiring to Smithville. We've experienced dentistry in overseas settings, in large urban areas, and small towns (plus military dentistry). Like many others my age, I had a bad experience with dentists as a young girl so going to a dentist was not my cup of tea! Dr. Tatum is kind, pain-free, state-of-the art dentistry in a small town, friendly office. He is the BEST!

Absolutely the best! Prior to moving to Smithville, I lived in Murfreesboro and had a great dentist... the best! Then I found Dr. Tatum and his staff! Mercy! Hands down unbelievable! Kind, professional and always going the extra mile! He has even called me at home to check in me when I had a problem! Wow! Thanks to you and your staff for being so wonderful!!!!!!

Office Staff is always super nice- I never have to wait long to see the Dr. or Hygienist- Facility is very clean- I always leave there with a positive experience & never have to wonder what is going on with my mouth because everything is always explained & all questions are answered without them making me feel stupid about my questions & lord knows I ask a lot lol . Dr. Tatum provides quality dental care. His high standard of dental practices keeps his loyal patients coming back. Not only is his staff very friendly but professional as well. If you are looking for a dentist, you must give DeKalb Dental Center.

He is best dentist I have seen. He truly cares for his patients. I recently had to have a tooth extracted, he gave me his cell phone number in case I had any problems. I called him on Sunday to discuss a problem; he told me to meet him at his office so he could take care of the problem. I was impressed that he came in just for me on Sunday. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
