The office staff are not super friendly. However, Dr Gage and her nurses are wonderful. The referral department is very slow.

(for the elizabethton office)I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. the nurses are fantastic but the doctor doesn't know what he's doing. i took my daughter there and told him she was severely constipated and he told me not to worry about it until she started to throw up bile. Unless you enjoy sitting in the doctors office all day, i wouldn't recommend this office. Also since covid hit appointments are far and few in between. God luck getting an appt. Also Its like pulling ears to get referrals for your children as well. And after sitting in the office all day long you think they would hurry to get you out the door but no they still want their students to take a look at your child. I was seen as an Adult in the Genetics Department, and I found the Staff to all be friendly and professional. I showed up two days early for a test, lol, and had another scheduled also the next day so they worked it for both tests on the same day. I drive from Bristol so that was great. I got one Genetic related diagnosis the first visit and just got the results from two other tests. I can highly recommend ETSU Genetics Department. The front office staff was very polite and answered all my questions. Medical staff was great! My daughter felt comfortable and listened to. Highly recommend.

I'm not a fan of this place. I told them from birth till 8 months that my daughter had something wrong with her lungs. I even took her to four sick visits in the middle of what was most likely asthma attacks and they could never find anything wrong despite how weezy she would be! It took a week long hospitalization over just a cold and switching pediatricians to finally get the referral that I needed for a pulmonologist! I'm not a fan of this place. We normally see Dr gage and she is wonderful. However, we were seen by Dr Gibson today. I keep my children up to date on their shots, but I only allow 2 shots at a time. Then I follow up in a week or two for whatever is left. She did not like this and was very rude. Even went as far as threatened to kick us out and not see my children anymore. ( oh no, there’s hundreds of doctors out there that will see them). I have never had a doctor treat me the way she did over how I prefer my children to get their shots. Very unprofessional. As long as they are up to date, how I have them done should not be a concern of hers. My views did not align with hers so instead of accepting that, she attacked me. Worst experience ever. This office is terrible! We were kept waiting in the room for over an hour. Staff is very cold and surprisingly rough when dealing with my newborn. Absolutely would NOT recommend!

I absolutely LOVE the staff there they’re so helpful and will get you in ASAP if needed. They really care about their patients and are very friendly and really know what they’re talking about. I refer everyone here and don’t think twice about it! They’re very careful with the babies as well! So so grateful for these people!

My son who is now 26 was a patient there from the age of 6-18 ,now my grandkids go there . Dr. Dobbs is Fantastic my grandkids love him and trust him and his staff . They make it easier on me , we can be see all together (3 kids). .Thank you for all you do . We are truly grateful.

Kicked out due to actions that had nothing to do with me the staff was very rude when we went it.

Dr. Gage is the WORST doctor there is!!! Very irresponsible to send refills or even to send a prescription!! Terrible doctor at the time of check up and its NOT the first time it happens! I have been trying for this lady! To send my daughter's nebulizer medicine and its been days and nothing! And I call and she is on vaca????

Best pediatric physicians for preemies !!!! They work in partner with the NICU at JCMC/Niswongers and are update and on point and very informative. They make sure to explain in ways ull understand and that u kno the importance of and are comfortable with every decision made. Most of the staff are friendly and very helpful however there are those select few that are down right hateful and rude that u just wanna punch in the face lol ???????? but all in all if u can look over the few "Karens" on staff ull be satisfied with the service and leave feeling good and informed Best pediatric physicians for preemies !!!! Rebekah at the front is rude not helpful at all acts like a child. Probably going to switch over her. Its something you would see from a teenager working at mcdonalds but the doctors 5 star

If i could have i would have gave a 0. My baby girl which is 1 month old was turned away because they said she had a temp. It was 99.1. Any one with children, especially a 1 month old knows they do not consider that a temp until 100.4. They said to leave and make an appointment when she feels better. This place is so sorry. Dr. Gage is awesome, she deserves 5 stars.. The staff in the front office are rude and not helpful. The nurses aren't that great either. Also, the offices are not clean. They may be disinfected, but they are still dirty.

Dr Gage is phenomenal, but the office staff is a joke. I’d give dr gave a 5 star but the 1 star is for the office. I literally can never get a return call because they fail to send her anything after they say they do he nurse also has not set up voicemail but she isn’t very nice anyways. I’ve had to take my son to the children’s hospital because of them failing to get us seen. I’m considering on switching to first choice pediatrics I’ve heard great things about dr Adams and the office staff and I also looked them up why have 4.9 star rating. Decent doctors, when you get to actually see them. Several hours wasted across several appointments for no-show doctors.
