Mr. Mobeen Mazhar

dr mazhar saw me for the 1st time in the er atnorthcypress. he didn't know me from adam! i had been released from texasheartinstitute and was still on a trach! i also did not know i was septic and semi consious when i got to the er. he knew how to treat this very ill post open heart surgery patient! ps this was 13 years ago!

I was recommended by my other dr. to see Dr. Mazhar. I called for an appt. but receptionist was very short and rude. She interrupted me several times while I attempted to answer her questions. I was giving her a few dates for appts. and she cut me off again stating Dr. Mazhar was out that particular week. So… I just hung up. I am sure Dr. Mazhar is a fine Dr. if one can only get past his receptionist!!

I recently was referred to Dr Mobeen by my GP. I am overweight and was expecting a sharp tongue lashing from the dr. I was shocked when it didn't happen. He encouraged me to get on a plan and was very understanding about how difficult it can be to lose weight. I was encouraged and actually took the advice he gave me. We love Dr. Mazhar! He has been my mother's doctor for years! He goes out of his way to personally call and check on her even when she is having a procedure that he is not involved with. Dr Mazhar is a wonderful cardiologist! He has taken care of my husband for many years, and when I needed him, he took care of me, also. I was a RN in a Houston ER, and had seen him many times caring for patents, and because of the great care I saw him give every patient, I chose him to care for my husband. Best decision ever!

Totally awesome. Always has time for you. He saved my life ! Don't go to anyone else. His staff is super. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Nice guy, very personable, but believes in better living thru chemistry. My BP was in high normal range during visits, but he insisted I needed BP med. I took it for years & slowly developed edema in my legs & feet—he kept trying to put me on Lasik for the edema, so I quit seeing him & let my GP manage my care; she recently took me off the BP med for a while. Surprise! My blood pressure remains in the normal to high normal range, pulse is good, energy high, and edema has disappeared.

Very caring, professional and does great job of explaining everything. His office is equipped to handle most exams related to your heart, including nuclear stress tests. His staff is very courteous and his technicians are highly trained. His office is in the same building compound as the hospital where he performs his surgical procedures. Excellent doctor. The best.

Gosh what a guy! Took me in on short notice and squeezed me in his schedule. Diagnosed the issue promptly and was very informative through the whole process. Ya need to go to this guy. The staff was really great with attitude and functions they were responsible for. If he picked this staff he picked well. Folks if you wait in the waiting room awhile for your appointment it is because your doctor took in a patient like me at the time I called with my emergency. He did me a real service.

He is an exemplary physician. I switched cardiologists after my second CABG. My first CABG was a single in 2005 and second was a double in 2008. I have been watched-over by him and his staff for eight (8) years now. He is all things a doctor should be. My well-being is first and foremost when I visit with him. Dr. Mazhar is what every young person desiring to be a physician, should strive to be like. I think of him as family and trust his opinion in my health care.
