Ms. Mona A Gohara

I have been going to Dr.Gohara since I was a little girl! I trust her with my life!! She is extremely knowledgeable, personal and above all, professional. She is the most amazing dermatologist and I will continue to follow her wherever she goes!!!

Dr. Gohara is very attentive, very pleasant, doesn’t make you feel rushed, gives you options for treatment, explains everything clearly and allows you to ask questions. Staff at the office has excellent customer service.

I highly recommend Dr. Gohara! She is a great doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and actually took the time that shows she really cares.

I've been seeing Dr. Gohara for several years, and she has treated my teenaged daughter as well. I can't recommend her highly enough. Not only is she friendly and personable but she is informed and well-versed in every aspect of dermatology for which I've sought her opinion and diagnostic skills, from aesthetics to skin burns. A few years ago, she moved from my geographic area and I now travel to see her because of her expertise, knowledge base and her nurturing bedside manner with patients. I've been a patient of Dr. Gohara's for over 12 years and she is so kind, professional and knowledgeable; I never feel rushed and always feel like I'm her priority. She also gave my mother another 4 years of quality life after diagnosing her with early stages of melanoma and she takes great care of my three children! LOVE Dr. Gohara. As a patient, she consistently gives me great advice, suggestions to try first, and treatment when necessary. She is not an alarmist yet doesn't dismiss my concerns, taking time to listen and evaluate. As a salon owner, I am often having conversations with clients regarding their skin and at times, need to refer clients to a dermatologist for further evaluation of skin, scalp and hair concerns. I've been seeing Dr. Gohara for a few years, and I used to travel to see her at her previous office. She was and is worth the drive. I'm super pleased she's now located in Hamden, though. She always takes her time with me. I never get the feeling she has a schedule to get to. One of the best parts of my relationship with Dr. Gohara is that I ask her for her opinion about my specific concern, and she gives me her straight talk. When magazines used to be a thing, I'd frequently see her featured as their go-to dermatologist (O Magazine and Allure, for examples). I'm thrilled that I get to see this really smart doctor who takes her time with me, and she's close by! Staff and office are easy and friendly too, and they remember me when I return. I always leave Dr. Gohara's office knowing that I received superb care. My concerns are always addressed thoroughly, and she is able to explain things in a clear way. She is thoughtful and truly cares about making sure her patients are well taken care of. She is responsive to questions and ongoing issues outside of regular appointments.

Great service! Krystin, who made my appointment was incredibly service-oriented! She went out of her way to accommodate me. Nice job, Krystin! I saw Dr. Mohara last year and I'm going back for my annual skin check up. She is an expert in skin cancer which is why I chose her. I liked her manner very much.

She saved my life. I had a melanoma and because of her swift treatment, I am now cancer free. I highly recommend her.

I waited awhile to write this because I was so upset. Dr. Gohara was in and out in about two minutes and did no tests or exams. She utterly dismissed all my concerns. Fortunately, a week later, I went to a better dermatologist and discovered that my symptoms had an underlying cause that required treatment. Maybe she was just busy that day, but you just cannot dismiss a person with severe pain without at least TRYING to find a cause. She acted like I wasted her time but I was in tears from pain
