We are so excited that Dr Kogan will be caring for our son from the moment we was introduced to her I had a sense of security I knew she was very knowledgeable I'm so grateful for Dr Kogan.

Dr. kogan is exceptional!!!! Her demeanor and reports with kids is absolutely heart warming, informative and so restores my faith in the medical field. We are so thankful to have her :)

Top notch care from start to finish. She’s always available for your questions and a genuinely caring doctor.

Awesome, very thorough and sympathetic treatment from the m moment I arrived with my son. It made me feel confident in choosing Midwestern Orthopaedics at Rush and in particular Dr Monica Kogan.

Dr. Kogan was amazing, she really took the time to care for my daughter. Her entire staff was warm and friendly. Check in and check out was supper easy. A wonderful experience.

Dr Kogan was knowledgeable, thorough, kind and compassionate. She listened to both me and my daughter, assured us that my daughter’s care was a priority, and created a reasonable and appropriate action plan to address her knee problem. My daughter left feeling reassured that someone listened to her and cared about helping her get better. I am beyond impressed with Dr Kogan and feel like she represented to us everything that a doctor should be but we have rarely found. And I would be remiss to leave out mentioning the PA, Leah. Everything that I wrote above absolutely applies to Leah as well. Additionally, Leah’s communication with us was above and beyond my expectation. She delivered test results and additional information to us quickly. I felt that she clearly explained everything to me and her compassionate nature and extensive knowledge helped ease my worried mom mind! Extremely disappointed!!! We went for a second opinion for my son. First appointment went fine. Did some initial assessments which was completely understandable. We were told that they were going to look into a couple of things and follow back up with us. While I understand not all surgeons are able to deal with complex situations. Instead of just letting us know with a simple phone call that she wouldn’t be able to help. We had to go in a second time for 5 min just to get charged and referred to someone else in another state to which we were supposed to get emailed information on but never did. Dr. Kogan is simply the BEST! Her knowledge and expertise are phenomenal. She is truly a great Doctor, and I feel so great under the care she gives to our daughter. I love recommending her to others. We adore her!

Dr. Kogan is amazing with kids (even those who are less than thrilled about being in a cast with a broken bone). From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease and confident we made the right choice with Dr. Kogan and the whole team!

Dr.Kogan has been professional in providing services for my 1 year old son, with putting a cast on his leg. She was kind, understanding and made sure to take care of my baby without any issues. If you’ve been in a accident, Dr.Kogan is the best in practice to go to for surgery.

Dr Kogan operated on my daughter when she broke four toes and had a bone protruding. Get surgical skills and bedside manner are excellent. We are always happy with Rush orthopedics

Dr. Kogan is incredible. She and her team did an extraordinary job when my son suffered an elbow fracture. Her reputation as the top pediatric orthopedist in the Midwest is well earned!

Dr. Kogan and her PA Leah were wonderful. Reviewed my daughter’s condition was matter of fact and provide recommendations for care. Very efficient process and very friendly staff.

Dr. Kogan is a wonderful pediatric orthopedic specialist! She is very flexible in seeing us when we have an emergency! She listens to our concerns. We have been seeing her for over a decade, probably her first patients since she arrived to Chicago and Rush!

Throughly explained all the problems during my appointment and laid out a plan of action to help treat the problem.

Went to see Dr. Kogan after my 2 y.o. son, fell and was limping east to talk to great with my son.

A great surgeon! She was very nice and helpful to my son. She got the job done for him.

Dr Kogan is a very nice, personable, knowledgeable and thorough doctor. Very easy to talk to and ask questions. We feel very comfortable going to her.

Monica is an ace- she connected with our 6 yr old asking her about her birthday theme while simultaneously connecting with me about her upcoming surgery. Her resident Edward was amazing and didn’t use a laptop and instead looked our daughter in the eye and took notes on a legal pad. Dr Kogan was confident and humble in the same moment. Dr Kogan has the expertise, experience, and know how of a consummate orthopedic surgeon. My granddaughter wag helped both physically and emotionally by her. Furthermore, dr. Kogan’s ability to address, direct , and include her pediatric patients into a dialogue is remarkable. We are privileged to have had her as Haley’s doctor.

Dr. Kogan examined our daughter after she had a recent knee injury. She worked us into her busy schedule, ordered an X-ray and MRI all in the same day. She is thoughtful, caring and has excellent bed-side manner. 5 stars!!!

We met with Dr Kogan when we were 20 weeks pregnant and found out our son had club foot. She gave us a clear plan of what the process would be to get it corrected. We loved her immediately. Dr. Kogan was wonderful. This was our second time seeing her and she was great both times. Both of my children really liked it and she made them feel comfortable during their visit.

She was so friendly and attentive. Everyone at Rush we encountered (reception, residents, x-Ray) were all incredible. Had issues making an initial appointment because their phone systems overloaded but once we were able to get through, positive experience.

Dr. Kogan performed surgery on my son. The surgery went really well and was completed in 15. She advised step by step what can and what would possibly happen during surgery. During the follow up she explained everything thoroughly regarding the next steps.

Very friendly and thorough. Answers all questions and just over all a pleasure to see.

Dr. Kogan answered every question I had. She provided me with a reliable parent and child support group. She was very kind and explained the entire process every step of the way. I didn’t have to wait at all was seen at my scheduled time and her staff is awesome.

Dr Kogan is caring and listens. Our experience with her was excellent. My 11 year old daughter had surgery for SCFE and we were in and out the same day. The staff was attentive and for the most part things started and ended in a timely manner as they said. Overall great experience! The follow up has also been solid. We love Dr Kogan. She is always so great with my eight year old son. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate and doesn’t make you rush into anything without explaining all the options. Dr Kogan is fantastic, I have a complicated hip situation, she listened to the problem said she would collaborate with her colleagues and come up with a plan. She is responsive, highly competent and I trust her. So glad I am working with her and her team to figure out a treatment plan.

i can't even begin to tell you how thankful I am for dr. Kogan!! She changed our lives. My daughter was born with very severe club foot and when she was first born we were very worried. I did a lot of research for the best orthopedic surgeon in the us and I came across Monica kogan we scheduled an appointment and she explained to us the process and what we need to do to go forward! She made us feel very comfortable and hopeful. She just had surgery and is already looking 100x better! Thank you!!
