Wonderful Doctor and friendly staff. Dr Akmal goes out of his way for patients he is very compassionate and caring.

Dr. Akmals front office staff member Crystal was very unwelcoming, and very rude, when asked to verify the billing on someones account. She then complained to Dr Akmals wife who called the patient and informed the patient that we were rude and she would appreciate if I didn't come back. Essentially the question was 2 things- #1 why is the patient being charged 1190 for an office visit with a co-pay plan..? They assured us that the patient wasn't on a copay plan, we assured her that she definitely was, because I set up said plan. We then asked for more time to figure out where the descrepancy was and asked if we could extend the promise to pay that they made her sign until i could raise hell with my corporate office and they said no, so I asked them what the process was when its cleared up. Someone NOT mnamed crystal, mind you.. answered 100% of my questions plesantly.. then Dr Akmals wife called the patient telling her not to bring me back because i was rude to crystal. (Still have no idea who crystal is.) I called and spoke to Mrs Dr akmal and SHE was 100% backing her aweful employee.... great customer service.

Dr Akmal has been taking care of my family for over a decade. He has not changed in his consistency of compassion, knowledge, and thoroughness. I highly recommend him.

Dr Akmal is a great doctor and his staff especially his wife go out of their way for the patients. I saw the review below and that must be some angry patient who did not get their drugs. They are very efficient and get things done.

Doctor Akmal is a wonderful Doctor but his staff, especially his wife who runs the office, are completely incompetent and rude. They never send in refills and many times I've had to physically go to the office and get a written prescription and they get angry. They always say they didn't get the fax from the pharmacy yet I have watched the pharmacy fax it over, They are known at the pharmacy for never sending in the refill. I could go on and on about how nasty his wife is!!
