Dr. Muhammad Sohail Siddiq

Dr Siddiq was very knowledgeable about my daughter’s problems. He explained the procedure she needed in terms I could understand. He made sure she received all the attention she needed before the procedure. He explained her procedure was high risk. He kept me update during the procedure. She was monitored closely during her hospital stay. Dr Siddiq visited her every day in the hospital. My family is very thankful for the knowledge and skills Dr Siddiq has. I would highly recommend Dr Siddiq and will continue to use him for all our GI problems.

I saw dr. Siddiq at his office in Jackson,TN in July of this year for my follow up appointment and as usual he was very professional, courteous, respectful, and compassionated in caring for me. Dr. Siddiq has been my Gastroenterologist for several years. He is a highly skilled professional in his medical expertise. Dr. Siddiq listens to me when we are discussing my health issues and treatments. I trust him, I know he will take care of me.

Bad manners dr. We had an appointment at 10, came at 9:45 , noticed that there are 4 people that have appointment at 10, dr hasn’t arrived yet, at 10:15 the nurse lead us to the smaller room inside, 11 o clock I asked when we gonna see the dr , the nurse said he is reviewing her chart, at 11:20 he comes in , offers no apology for the waisted time and asks why are you here, I asked you don’t have the blood work results, he says no let’s try to get them, which means more waiting time, I complained to him that we waisted enough time so far he says it is normal to waist time at the dr, he said you could go to a dr and wait 3 hours, that’s normal. This dr thinks it is ok to waist time at the dr office as oppose to appointment organizing, Didn’t have any of our test results And thinks it is somebody’s else’s fault Lied about reviewing the chart ( the nurse) Did not care about my complaint and left the room. I don’t advise anyone to go and see this dr please go and see somebody else. Bad manners dr. Never returned phone in a important time Of need....called several time and was told he would return call and did not....even after calling next day to question why?

I have an autoimmune disease that is attacking my bile ducts and killing my liver. I recently switched to Dr. Siddiq from another gastroenterologist. The other doctor was nice but I didn't feel he was invested in my health or my future in general. My liver functions were high but he continued to say they were just fine. Dr. Siddiq listened to my concerns and upped my medication. Not much changed in my labs with the additional dose. Dr. Siddiq then added an additional medication and continued to monitor my labs. My labs are almost normal now. Dr. Siddiq listens, shows compassion, and keeps working until the desired results are obtained. Instead of planning for a liver transplant in my future, I will be living a normal life. I am so pleased with my decision to change doctors.

No compassion or empathy whatsoever. Terrible bedside manner. Not someone you want to talk to when your family member is extremely critical in icu.

Does not provide patient with education regarding disgnosed conditions or discuss treatment options. Spends an extremely small amount of time with patient (less than 4 minutes every sungle visit).

Dr. Siddiq and his staff are wonderful! His nurse Stephanie, the surgery center staff and anesthesiologist were all very caring and comforting. I was very nervous about have my first colonoscopy, but they were all reassuring. I don't remember a thing, totally painless. I highly recommend Dr. Siddiq for anything related to gastroenterology.

Doesn't listen well to me & left while I was talking. Didn't review chart well enough and said "will look at gall bladder" (It was removed some time ago & has been mentioned verbally to him during 1st contact). Hasn't palpated the area of my pain yet in 2 visits. Will try a 3rd visit for closure to recent procedure.
