Dr. Tieszen – CB, IA – Worst experience ever. 5 years later and I am still dealing with his mistakes from my surgery. I placed my trust in him and then became part of a bad science project which he then covered up with lies. He gets to continue his practice with no consequences while I must figure a new normal – figuring out ways to get the proper nutrients. It has not been an easy road. The hospital is no better as they helped cover up his mistakes and did not reprimand him for his actions. I agree a miserable excuse for a doctor and does not deserve such a title.

Was referred by GP for surgery. My consult felt like he was mocking me or he had someone else's file. Treated my issue like it was my 1st dr visit. Even though I'd had several tests over 12 months. After doing an upper GI test he concluded I didn't need surgery due to 'no history of issues'. His evidence was notes from consult that contradicted my very reason for having surgery referral. If you want to waste time/money on unnecessary test he's the guy. Otherwise find someone else!

Dr. Tieszen is a miserable excuse for a doctor. He gets in over his head and rather than admit mistakes or get help, he will leave you in ICU to die. Seriously - get a second opinion and I would recommend finding a different surgeon.

Dr Tieszen is very caring and very good about explaining the ins and outs of my problems and the methods needed to correct them. I would highly recommend him and his staff for treatment.
