I had Elsbury for my primary care for about 4 years with two baby deliveries. My in office appointments were always late. Sometimes by an hour. If the doctor had a delivery, that’s fine, reschedule me instead of telling me, “it’ll be a few minutes.” I had my first baby and during the delivery there was a mistake made and I ended up with an infection. I spent a week in the hospital without the baby for treatment. Before getting discharged from L&D I had told her my pain, associated with said infection, and was dismissed! After I had my first baby there were signs that I had postpartum depression and I had brought it up and was dismissed. My second child the delivery was awful. I tore and then proceeded to loose SO much blood. I was mentally scared. I could not even sit up in bed without passing out for almost two days. I was young and did not realize so much of this could’ve been prevented by a doctor that listens to their patients. I had a third child, different city and it was an eye opening difference to just how awful Moscow family medicine is and Dr Elsbury.
