Dr. Nancy J. Toy is a wonderful Doctor. She is just so sweet and kind. She will listen to you and take her time with you and if you have any questions or concerns She will answer them for you. Dr. Nancy Toy thank you for being so sweet and kind. You are a wonderful person.

She was very informative and professional: yet , reassuring with good bedside manner. She put me at ease as I needed a colposcopy.

From the front office I was immediately impressed. They were highly organized. The nurse was patient, friendly, fun, and caring. Dr. Toy was calm and very knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and explained everything so it was clear and easy to understand. So glad I found her!

The best of the best. Dr Toy is exceptionally thorough, knowledgable and professional. Her kind, compassionate, and calming demeanor alleviates any dread or nervousness (let’s face it, no one anticipates these appointments with a sense of fun). At 66 years old, I’ve had many medical gynecological issues & procedures over the years. When I moved to Hickory 12 years ago, I had several people recommended Dr Toy. Best decision ever. Favorite doctor ever. I am so well taken care of, not just during regular check-ups, but on occasions where I’ve needed further tests, procedures or surgery. She is extremely detailed and thorough, and explains everything in her calm, friendly manner. (Shout-outs also to her staff, who are all so friendly and fun). In addition to being a great doctor, she is a great person. I would encourage anyone looking for an OB/GYN to choose Dr Toy for their care.

I have been seeing Dr. toy for approximately 10 years and I have been extremely satisfied with the wonderful care she gives me her attitude her bedside manners and her wealth of information

Dr Toy is a wonderful dr. She is genuine and easy to talk to. She’s very informative on everything and explains it so it’s easy to understand. I see her for regular check ups and she has done a few procedures on me. She is very gentle and reassuring. She has helped me with a few medical problems and keeps a check on them as needed. She stays up to date on your overall health and works with your primary well if needed. I couldn’t ask for a better female dr. I have seen one of her colleagues after a procedure and she treated me the same way as Dr. Toy. The office staff are kind and friendly and do what they can to make everything simple. Dr. Toy, did a DNC on me and didn't tell me my pathology was precancerous and then refused to do a hysterectomy when I was nearly bleeding out from numerous fibroid tumors that she also had not mentioned to me or the new gynecologist I sought help from. BTW the other doctors in her office wouldn't help me because she said I didn't need a hysterectomy. Doctor treats the patients like family. She is very understanding and explains things well. Very good experience!

She is nice and seems to know what she is doing but very fast in the room. She is in and out and doesn't really talk to you about anything going on in your pregnancy or ask how you feel.

My sister saw Dr. Toy for reproductive help. When discussing the results of the ultrasound her team conducted, there was a mass that Dr. Toy saw and told my sister it was nothing to cause concern. My sister got a second opinion from another ob/gyn at a different practice. The mass was cancer. My sister had endometrial cancer. My sister had a hysterectomy and lived because of the second opinion. Had my sister listened to Dr. Toy, she might have died. Do not trust Dr. Toy with your health!

Terrible person! She saw something in an ultrasound and told my sister not to worry. Ended up being endometriosis and she later had a full hysterectomy!!

I visited Dr Toy before there was online reviews. She is the worst Dr I’ve ever went to. I visited her for infertility problems. She told me she saw something on a ultrasound but not to worry about it. And I shouldn’t have any trouble getting pregnant. A year later I still wasn’t pregnant and went to a OB in Charlotte. I was told I had endometrial cancer. I had to have a hysterectomy and had no chance at having a baby. I believe what she saw on the ultrasound was cancer. She ruined my life. I would not recommend anyone go to her. I wish she could experience my pain and the anguish that I experienced.

Dr. Nancy Toy was very pleasant, caring, professional, and listens to her patients. The entire staff was friendly and excellent. My first experience at Catawba Women’s Center was great and I would recommend Dr. Nancy Toy to anyone needing a new Gynecologist.
