I came in for lab results, was told I have low thyroid and took a follow up test. I have not been able to reach anyone sine for the past 3/4 weeks. No one picks up the phone and there is no option for voicemail. I am a bit worried about my lab result and this is very frustrating.

Dr. Punjabi helped give me my life back. When I turned 30, it was like a switch got flipped off-- no energy, fatigued all the time, motivation to take care of myself was on the back burner, etc. I had a pretty good idea going into his office what the problem was, simply based off family genetics, but it felt so good to be validated and have what was happening to me not only explained, but treated in an effective manner. Dr. Punjabi is very knowledgeable and although he doesn't beat around the bush, he is very respectful and honest and that's exactly what I want, and need, in a doctor. I was so impressed by him that I insisted my fiance see him and he is now getting to experience the same gift I am, it has brought us closer together as a couple and anyone who has tried to change their lifestyle in a household with others who aren't ready to make the same change (and are a bad influence) will understand how important it is to get everyone on the same page so you can have the support system you need to make a healthy lifestyle happen. If you are having thyroid or hormone issues, or are just feeling like "bleh" all the time without knowing where it's coming from, go see Dr. Punjabi. He will help you figure out what's going on and help guide you onto the right track. You only have one body in this life and it is never too soon to start taking care of it. My name is Jennifer been seeing Dr P for almost a year I drive from Fort.hood . I have had nothing but great things to say about him honestly Im very suprised at some of the negitivity some have wrote . For me he has always taken care of my health not just physical but my mental health , he has motivated me to do better with my diet and I feel a big diffrence . I never leave feeling like he didnt listen to me, he always asks about my kids and husband . My husband deployed and while he was gone on deployment he even did a phone appt when I wasnt feeling well and stressed he listened to me vent and gave me alot of goals to get my mind off my stress !! I am a paitent and will continue to drive to see him couldnt pay me to go to a diffrent doctor ! Office staff is very sweet and helpful .

This practice is terrific. Dr. Punjabi combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss. Also, the staff is very friendly and professional. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes when I arrive on time for an appointment.

Apparently, they provide the same timeslot to 5 different people. Waste of time. Why keep appointment system if it's going to take hour past appointment time.

I have been going to see this doctor for more then two years now, he has great bedside manner and is great with my kids( let's face it kids have to come sometimes) he tries to understand you and your problems and not just feed you prescriptions. Promptly responds to resolve any issues, and lends you a listening ear if need be. I never feel rushed at his office, which is great for me. Would absolutely recommend this doctor to anyone !!.

I love this clinic! Dr. Punjabi is a fantastic doctor with excellent bedside manners and listening skills. He has helped both my husband and better our health tremendously. I also love the staff! The women at the front desk and the nurses and phlebotomists are great at their jobs and create an inviting environment.

Dr. Punjabi actually listened when I told him what I wanted done. After my primary doctor refused to do tests, I was referred to Dr. Punjabi and was able to get in very quickly (just a few days after I called) which seems to be impossible for new patient visits. He made sure all tests I wanted were ordered and verified multiple times that I didn't want to order any others. Dr. Punjabi made me feel heard. Thank you, Dr.

He touched me inappropriately, I filed a 911 case on him. I am also taking this to the medical commission. I can say, this was not his first time doing this by his actions so confident. I am truly baffled by all the good reviews on google. I wonder if the doctor paid for them. Can't even call him a doctor. He has no manners how to talk to a women. He tries to touch his patient inappropriately. He asks personal and inappropriate questions which is not even related to the checkup just to get close to the patient. His actions tell how big of a perv he is. My friend has a case reported on him because of his behavior. Such people's license should be cancelled as soon as possible. His hospital looks spooky, chairs are not cleaned and apart from that all the equipments are so old it seems like he must have bought it when he started practicing 30 years ago. Been a patient of Doctor Punjabi for almost 4yrs now. He's a compassionate Dr and I always get excited to have my appointment with him just to catch up. Some grief with my family happened and he truly cared and checked up on me frequently. It's such a shame good docs get such a bad rep from such awful and spoiled patients. It was my first visit to this clinic this morning. Dr Punjabi is the worst trauma happened to me. I had a horrible experience, he is a sexual harasser and gave inappropriate sexual advices which has nothing to do with my general visit. He touched me inappropriately, I filed a 911 case on him. I am also taking this to the medical commission. I can say this was not his first time doing this by his actions so confident, If this happened to anybody else please complain to medical commission.

Doc Punjabi is best doctor and personal friend. I highly recommend him. He gives personal attention and best care for his patients. For time you wont even feel like you are there for treatment. He got an awesome cheerful personality. Thank you Doctor.

Opportunist crook. WILL talk to you every visit about his MLM business opportunity. Will not fill maintenance prescriptions for more than 90 days - no matter what type they may be. Will not take the time to ensure medications he prescribes do not interact with one another. Does not like being asked for referrals and he does not have relationships with any local specialists. Whats more, he has a distinct, but non-verbal, way of telling you he doesn't like you every time he enters the room.

Was very nervous to visit this clinic. All of the staff, Dr. Punjabi included, were wonderful! They were kind, courteous, and completely understanding. Everyone should pay a visit to this office, EVERYONE!

Beware of this one. You'll get your buprenorphine, but he'll also pick your pocket with Multilevel Marketing Schemes and unnecessary bloodwork to determine that you are uniquely in need of special vitamins that he just happens to have. If you decline, he will add little fees to your bill and claim you discussed certain things that added additional fees to the visit. In short, yes, this is a mercenary out go gouge the addict. For a doctor who won't treat you this way, please choose anyone else. Punjabi's slightly lower fee will come back to haunt you later. Don't be enticed by it. Dr Punjabi has been my primary care physician for more than 25 years (yes, really!) I have nothing but good things to say about him compared to other physicians who deflect you to their PA or NP and don't even see you themselves. He's friendly, doesn't rush you, always listens to your concerns, gives great care and advice, refers to specialists when needed - precisely the things a PCP is supposed to do. His staff is excellent too. Having a reliable PCP is incredibly important as they keep your medical history which specialists don't have but need to know about.. Dr P is a good choice for a PCP. Dr. Punjabi is a wonderful doctor. I have been seeing him for close to 2 years now and every visit his staff is courteous, have helped a great deal when scheduling conflicts came up, and always do their best to accommodate. When getting to see the doctor he is always attentive, we always have a great dialog about any and all issues and what can be done about them, and he always has additional options to present. Would not recommend to any females or anyone!! Felt extremely uncomfortable in the room with the doctor by myself. He asked questions and started conversation about things I felt were inappropriate! I had a question regarding the reason he wanted me to get blood tests done, which was not related to the reason of my visit (to refill my prescription from a previous doctor I had prior to moving to Austin). Instead of answering my question or explaining anything, he told me to purchase a book from his office and I would pay for it when I check out!! What??? I had very bad experience twice. Will never go again. I felt like I am talking to a money maker, not a doctor. He was so much into selling his extra vitamins which he sells at his office. He asked me lots of personal( business) questions which was not at all related to my health. One big thing I found out very strange is, when he gives patient a blood work to be done. He want us to make a second appointment to check the results. He just want to make money, so he tries to call unnecessarily. My current doctor office calls me to give the results by phone and he also prescribe me medicine according without going for the second visit. Doctor Punjabi is AMAZING! He is the ONLY Doctor that actually listened, & didn't make me feel stupid. I don't care why I am there, he ALWAYS has an answer. He remembers my children's names & what is going on at home & asks about it at next appt. I never feel rushed, even when he is clearly swamped with appts. I can joke with him & he is ornery right back. His office staff are just as amazing! He looks at the whole instead of just medicating. I literally tell anyone who will listen about him.

I agree Dr. Punjabi is more concerned about money than patient care. The office is recognizable from the outside. It is in a building were it can be here today and gone tomorrow. OR overnight nothing to indicate it is permanently located "fly by day gone by night"

I've been a patient for 5 years and not once have I been mistreated, ignored, or felt like a part of the "herd". Since day 1 Dr.Punjabi has asked about my family and their health every visit and has treated every health concern with care and respect. Thank you to the entire staff for being there for me every time. Love these people!

I have been going to Dr. P for a few Yeats altogether and he is great. I've read all the reviews here and I find it interesting some of the info left out. He's a great Dr. and has a great staff. He helps and is one of the few Dr.'s who can help patients addicted to opiates and/or pain meds, which is why he has the counselor Ruben there, and is part of his program to help you overcome this addiction. He is a great Dr and has a great staff and if you truly don't want help with this problem then go somewhere else. He follows the laws that he has to to be able to help patients like me. He has beloved me with and treated me for any illnes's I've had during my time under his care. All I can say to the negative comments on here is don't see him if you don't truly want help and want to follow his rules that are required of you to be part of this program. I can tell no one admitted that this why they were seeing him but could tell that is why just by reading the review (of most). Its all or nothing. Either you want the help or you don't, and if you don't go somewhere else. He and his staff are great and I'm thankful for him and his staff and everything they have done for me, even when I've been super sick with whatever cold going around or whatever has been abnormal in my blood work. They are great no matter what you are seeing them for, but before you consider the negative at least consider what there visit was actually for.

I give Dr. Punjabi all the praise in the world. Dr. Punjabi and his office staff are delightful and very professional. He takes the time to understand what my needs and concerens are.
