Horrible doctor. Horrible human being. I greeted her with a hello as she sat down by her computer and the first words out of her mouth were "There are plenty of people in a lot more pain than you." Needless to say I was gobsmacked at the degree to which she attempted to degrade my physical issues that were causing me so much pain and affecting my quality of life. She made no effort to be friendly, or even professional. It only got worse from there. She continued to be dismissive and rude and acted as if I was wasting her time. She then wrote me a script for a 30 day supply of an opioid and told me to go find another doctor. No recommendations for PT or any other alternatives. Outrageous behavior on her part. I've also heard from several nurses I know that she behaves this way with most everyone. She either needs to retire or find a profession that doesn't involve interacting with people.
The doctor routinely sat behind a little typing table in a hot room and never got up. She seemed quite dismissive of my pain issues. The very first thing she did was to drastically reduce my pain meds and didn't seem to care about how much pain I would then have to deal with. She hasn't recommended any modalities such as physical therapy, massage, etc. I read about her 2016 accident and thought perhaps she wasn't 'hands-on' because she herself was in pain but I really don't know why she is a physiatrist who doesn't even touch her patients. If she isn't able to perform her job, she should hire a practitioner to help her. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and will continue to see her but if this continues, I'm going to look for someone else. I want a doctor who wants to help me improve my quality of life, not sustain or even worsen the painful life that I already endure. FYI, I do like the office staff or I might have given only one star.
Very long waiting time. Office staff is rude, Dr. Jaffery is moody and don't dare question her. After she treated me so rudely, I immediately left her practice and went to Dr. Antony in Delaware who is phenomenal!
